You can't go wrong with a pretry babydoll. Given I dont know your wife's body it might be an easier fit for her and they hide some areas women tend to feel self conscience about.... pair that with some stockings and you have a winner look.

Is this for a date ot stay in or go out on the town? I love it when a partner sends me a package with everything I am to wear and a time and place to be. So go for it and get the whole lingerie set, stocking and shoes you want her in and maybe send her to the spa or hair salon to get done up prior. Great way to spoil her and have a fantasitic encouter.
PS Just make sure you have sizes right! Nothing worse than something not fitting or feeling good on her.
We're going away for the night, so we'll be going out for dinner and then probably a few drinks afterwards. You can't beet a nice long length dress when going out. It keeps you guessing on whats underneath.
Stockings are mandatory either full kit or hold ups .
With it being summer perhaps a maxi type dress with no under wear ? Just depends if that thought appeals to you and you OH of course .

I had a similar dilemma. My wife and I have booked a cruise for our wedding anniversary this year and she has been shopping for posh frocks and cocktail dresses to wear. It's a bit easier for me as I'll just break my tux out from it's hiding place at the back of the wardrobe.
So, while I have been sitting on the bed watching a fashion parade giving yes or no votes I have been compiling my LH wish list.
When every combination of shoe, frock, earrings, bracelet and necklace had been displayed my wife collapsed on the bed next to me. I passed over my iPod and asked if she wanted to select anything else for our holiday.
Thirty minutes later, after a thorough reading of customer reviews, the iPod was passed back to me with a £200 shopping bag! Thank god there was a 25% discount from LH this weekend.
However, most of the clothing bought will not really be suitable for the Captain's table although some items will be worn under a posh frock with an eye on late night entertainment back in the cabin.
Best idea would be to ask her unless it is a surprise and even that could turn into a disaster if you get it wrong.
I know people are different but what a man sees as sexy a woman could see and whorish and if she isnt in that kind of mood then it may end with an argument. (trust me, been there lol)
