The general election is on the way, and over the next couple of months, the polital bollcks(hype), is only gonna get worse. I'm already bored of the bulls**t of how they are gonna p**s us, oh I mean improve our lives for next five years.
So if you where primeminister what three laws would you make, one semi serious, one fun, and one sexual related.
Here's mine
Semi serious, on the last working day of every month, minimum wage increased to £20 per hour, so everone can have one day of partial luxury, like their tight fisted boss.
Fun. All mp's or people in public office who break the rules, should be sent to a bdsm dungeon to be dealt with by the house mistress/dom, this be filmed on live webcam so the public can decide when they have been suitably disiplined.
Sexual. Everyone over 18 should receive a free sex toy on their birthday every year.
What an interesting topic! Mine aren't very well thought-out, but the sentiment is there :P
Semi-serious - a law that is much stricter with animal cruelty, and has punishments that might actually deter people from abusing animals. Preferably this would also apply to animal testing if cosmetic testing still hasn't been stopped in reality yet.
Fun - I'm actually so unfun about politics that I can't even think of one.
Sexual - I'd repeal all the idiotic laws about porn possession that have come in over the last few years (the extreme pornography act and dangerous cartoons act would be top of my list, plus the new one that's coming in soon about fantasy rape stuff *shakes head woefully*), and basically just leave it that if it's consensual in reality then there's no problem even if it's not consensual in the story. Just because people are playing pretend doesn't make it real or mean that it's hurting anyone.
Bit of a rant, sorry ;) I think I'll have to keep away from any politics coverage, preferably forever. Maybe I can avoid even knowing who's elected if I try hard enough.
(Semi) serious: Better sex education to include relationship education. I can think of a number of people onnthis forum who could do a better job than most schools. No one should be able to opt out.
Fun: Not very imaginative but I think we could do with an extra Bank holiday, maybe around end October.
Sexual: No VAT on sex toys and essentials like lube
Semi-serious: i would like some kind of control about people being able to get the right kind of employment for them, not this idea of the job centre forcing people into jobs they arent right for. Some careers like in the care industry should be for those who care, not just those desperate for a job and forced to take it or face losing their benefits.
fun: everyone should get a minimum of 6 weeks holiday a year, with at least one week being a holiday of their choice so people can get away and not spend their days off doing extra work because they know that they cant afford a holiday so will just spend time off bored at home.
sex related: up the age of consent to 18. If kids are going to have to be in ful time education until they are 18 then it doesnt make sense that legally they can be parents at 16. At the minute a 17 year old mum will at least have gsces to get a job, but if everyone is at a level standard and someone drops out to have a baby, its unfair that they wouldnt be considered a suitable candidate in the future.
At my first appearance at the UN, I would pull out a flogger and a number of other bondage utilities and ask President Putin which country he wants to abuse next. After Russia's responce; which would be no doubt deny any involvement, I would produce a butt plug, place it on the table and simply say, I forgot about this one.
Serious: Change the benefits system. Make sure the elderly, the disabled and the ill have enough money to actually live on, with some quality of life that isn't just barely paying basic cost of minimal living, and stop handing out thousands to people to pop out kid after kid. If you want children, i personally believe it's a privilege not a right, and something you should only do when you have the financial stability to support a child/children yourself.
Fun: apologies, fun and politics refuse to gel in my mind
Sexual: This one will make me very unpopular here, but I'd completely ban "extreme" internet porn. Things like role played rape, kidnap, torture, "abusive" language like bitch, whore, slut etc, and BDSM that goes beyond soft restraining, blindfolding and light spanking, as well as using none sex toys for penetration. I wouldn't ban the ability to buy DVD's etc that show the above, as i appreciate there are fetishes, but I don't think it should be easy to access simulated rape, torture or humiliation, as it can be dangerous.
Erm, this may sound slightly silly to many people but I am being very serious: I would allow single women to undergo the donor insemmination procedure. While this is allowed in the UK, in the Netherlands and, I think, in Scandinavia, it is not allowed over here (nor in Germany, Switzerland, etc.). In the Czech Republic, you just have to have a partner (you don't have to be officially married, though). I often think I may never meet a man who would actually want me - but I admit I would really, REALLY like to have a baby one day (preferably before I hit my mid-30s, that means in 5 or 6 years).
Make tax simple e.g 20p on every pound you make end of story no complexity no loop holes to exploit everyone pays it from joe blogs to Amazon.
Make sure doctors and nurses get a good wage it makes me feel uneasy that I can make more working in it than in a hospital!
Like someone said make the benefits system fairer for sick and disabled but also introduce community service for those on long term who aren't sick where people learn a trade or skill.
Make it compulsory for company's to include info on how their product was produced and also that their packaging is recyclable without having to spend ages separating it all!
