ok so i've always liked the idea of mixing technology with toys and a while back had the idea that you could make sex toys that could be controlled by someone else over the internet! Unfortunately someone else had a similar idea, i can't remember who or when but i'm pretty sure i remember seeing it somewhere! From what i remember you could plug in your toy and the person on the other end could change the speed settings. I thought this idea would be great for people that are in long distance relationships or even people that use dating sites and the likes. I imagine it would be possible to make something a bit more interactive such as a toy that a woman could use that could send thrust information to a toy a guy was wearing and vice versa!
so moving on from that idea what would people think of toys that were controlled by porn? You see porn stars making casts of their bits and i assume people buy them! I guess for men you could have a sleeve that moved in time with POV action on screen and a machine for women that worked in the same style!
is that idea a bit too crazy?

yeah i'm guessing that a lot of people would charge for online services aswell! that can't be good unless the service is exceptional and makes the product more worth while!
i can't really think of anything along the same lines that hasn't been done! i'm just surprised the major porn folk haven't cashed in on it!

this is a pretty cool thread. Am realy interested in the evolution of male toys, and just the design of toys for both sexes in general. Would be cool to use this thread to bounce ideas off each other so that when the design competition comes there are already technical/factual resource for people to use. Meaning our submissions will be realistic, informed and best of all tailored to the feedback and needs of the lovehoney community.
Heres a few topics it would be cool to consider:
What makes an/your existing toy good (existing product analysis)
what materials feel the best
what sensations are vital/important to you, and is there anywere you feel is being neglected?
the look, realistic or stylised? subtle or loud?
Would be cool to get everyone/ or at least the creative minded members input. And think (maybe as a result lovehoney and you may create the next innovation in toy design).

I totaly agree with you lunar lunacy (as i have a cock, it makes me wish i had enough money to get one or at least test 1). Dreamt about a product like this since i was in uni. Happy its realized (and properly, as opposed to the other one i saw which is basically a sex version of sims). I know its geeky but i dread/love to think of the electronics involved to create all those sensations within once product.
But alas its a future reality 5 years. I am wondering what would be the equivalent for a girl? Any ideas what it would/could do?

The 'real touch' looks great, I would love to give it a try but not at the price they are asking for it. Looks like you have to have an ongoing subscription to get the various different 'scenes' too which would be very costly. Shame!
