Let us talk about men's health...

Today marks the 1st of 30 days during which men across the world forgo grooming of their upper lip in the aid of men's health.
Some of you may recall my exploits last year during which I raised over £1k for the cause, whilst delivering the message of prostate and testicular cancer and of mental health awareness.

So this day, the 1st of Movember, I ask all you forum males to follow me in shaving for the last time this month this morning. And to all, male or female, I ask you to check this thread regularly throughout Movember for tips and information.

United we Mo!

Good on ya Sub!

My bf suffers with prostatitus (a little unusual in someone of his age) and has recently been told he has a benign prostate cyst too. As a result he has regular checks and will soon be having an op to remove the cyst as whilst it is not currently dangerous, it is not a good idea to leave it, especially as it is possibly causing the prostatitus and maybe other issues in the future.

No one likes to talk about embarassing health worries, least of all men it seems but taking the stigma out of getting to know what's normal and what's not and going to your GP if worried is SO important! Luckily my bf is pretty proactive with these things so thankfully things have been found before they develop into anything worse.

These type of cancers are very treatable if caught early so it's vital to spread the word!

Go men! ![](upload://ez5kOkpKXRZOxjavAURYmQxVTau.gif)

November is a great month for those of us who like beards. More of you should take part.

Please? ![](upload://4WyQT1gwKaQJNwhYxrKZ1rOPglF.gif)

I'm taking part for the first time. I hate not shaving and a ronnie is going to play havoc with my morning porridge but it's for good cause.

I did grow one last year and the year before when I was out in a far away land, (V,hot and lots of sand) but it never seems to come to much,

I will be trying again this year, however it never really suits me,,,so will come off at the end of the month ![](upload://h7LJ67OOrR57VDYrj5ZEwwHAfLG.gif)

Good luck guys! :) Hope to see lots of beards about this month, I will wear my moustache accessories and t-shirt with pride!

Well done Subby & Good Luck guys! :) xx

Good luck everyone and thanks for raising awareness Sub

On average in the uk, men live for 4 years less than women.
4 years! That's a huge disparity - over 5% of an average lifetime

So, chaps - notice anything different when you pee or have sex? Any blood in your toileting?
Go to the docs. If we catch it early it can be cured...

Good on you! Well done!

My partner is also taking part in Movember. He hates not shaving but will do anything for a good cause. Well done to everyone taking part! :D

My uncle is currently suffering from stage 4 metastatic prostate cancer and he is sadly terminal. It really means a lot to me and my whole family that people are willing to raise awareness for health issues like this. Thank you to everyone taking part!

So today I must shave to rid my chin of its hair and let my Mo stand alone.

What style do you guys think i should go for?
Last year I did 1970s porn star...

Even though I won't get to see it :(

Thanks for your input D.
Last year StH (who I haven't seen in weeks now ) persuaded me to change my avatar to a pic of my Mo, it was there for all of 10 minutes.

Oh and, of course, we sell a bunch of prostate massagers at Lovehoney too, which make solo massage much easier, and more precise!

Question....
