looking for a collar

my Master collard me back in february. i was very excited about this and what it would mean to both of us. i wanted it to be specal (and it was). unfortunately, i havent really been able to wear it much though, atleast not in public, so its felt like the very specal act of being collared has somewhat been forgoten. we have talked and decide that a more subtle collar that would be both simbolic and subtle would resulve this problem

it is about as dificult choosing a collar for me as it is choosing shoes- and that is in no way easy. the reason this is soi dificult is because i only have a 15 inch (circumphrance) nech and collars can only be a maximum of 1.5 inches high without them turning into a posture collar.

this one must also be sutable to wear in public (including coledge and infront of parents) and idealy something that can get wet as i want to be able to keep it on almost all the time. also idealy under £20

anyone know where i could find anything of this description or have any links. iv already looked on ebay. i dont mind if its not actually a collar but i want something that fits close to the neck like a choker.

I love it. We've had some difficulty with the clasp but looking to get a lock for it soon from a scene friend. I do like the silver one of the 2 new ones you posted - a bit more collar-ish, to me.

We haven't had any raised suspicion that we know of around mine :) Congrats on being collared by the way!

I would prefer leather for a collar myself (and in fact have my eye on a few at the moment), but I quite like the two you're thinking of - they're not so obvious and can pass as just a regular choker. :)

The leather one is less conspicuous. It's also more fashionable (surfer wear etc) so it's more passable to vanillas. Like them both though - great price.

Orrrrr, as a suggestion.... make your own.

Go to a hobbycraft store and look up jewellry making. That way, you can still have a leather one or metal one but made to your own spec/size. My local craft shop runs workshops every sunday morning where they do metal bashing. They made awesome earrings and necklaces from bashed metals. Great fun too. It's amazing what you will find in your local community - join a forum. It's also something your master can personalise or do with you. It could even be a task set.

great idea Ms HKM. i did concider making one but hadnt thought of checking out craft stores and the fact that would be a way round the sizing problem. would love to make a leather lace one for "Best" but i would need the materials and a laze cutter and softwear for that.

if my partner was more creative i would certainly insist he made it for me.(he'll just have to pay for instead...i mean, you cant buy your own collar now can you :P

Back a few years ago I had a girl collared. What we used was an actual dog collar, maybe half an inch thick, in a very pretty metallic blue, with a silver and blue heart tag. It looked almost like a choker when she wore it, which was great.

@rag doll, if you go to a workshop together they'll have all the equipment you need. You just pay for the materials you use.

my partner eventuly got me the metal one i originaly posted and he has shown me it over skyp- it looks so delecate and lovely, just hope it fits my tiny neck (never knew i would find something elce as hard to find for me as shoes) i wasthinking that i will wear the collar how it is then once i know it is inconspicus enough and not too many questions asked by nosey vanila parents i might change the clasp for a heartshaped lock and a charm (like the ones on the link)

glad people like the link. i spent hours addicted to it. i love the story of O charms- very original.
