Lube for sensitive people

I recently tried a sample of Wet Original lubricant during sex and found it irritated my delicate bits (NOT pleasant!). Has anyone got suggestions for lubes that are gentle on sensitive skin?

The gold standard for those who are sensitive to lubes is Probe. It only has 3 ingredients in distilled water, contains no parabens or other icky things, and contains grapefruit seed extract, which helps to balance your vaginal pH due to its natural antibacterial/antifungal properties.

It can be a bit stringy, which is most noticeable when you get it out of the bottle, but once it's in place, it's fabulous.

It's quite hard to get hold of in the UK, but you can get it here: http://www.sh-womenstore.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=58

You could try Pink. It's hypoallergenic and very gentle. I think it may be one of my favorite lubes on the market. A bit expensive, but it's worth it in my opinion. :)

Silicone lubes are great, no glycerine or irritating chemicals. This one's my favourite: http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=1137&aff=anika, as you can probably tell from my review. If you'reworried about the price you could get a small bottle of Pjur or ID, or the Tracy Cox one for a fiver: http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/store.cfm?cat=39&aff=anika

Thanks for the ideas, I'm sure we'll have fun trying them all out :D

Just spotted another one for you -- the System Jo lube says its free of glycerine, silicone or oil...

I really like the totally natural and organic water-based lubes by "Yes". They are a little on the pricey side, but so worth it. Completely comfortable to use, and a sensitive flower like mine feels all the better for including it in play. I've tried the oil based version too and it was a little grainy during this cold weather and it doesn't quite have the slip you get with the water-based.

Hi anyone around?

I really need a lube, but can't seem to find one i like im very sensitive and most that i have used seem to sting a little, there is also all this don't use this lube for that or that lube for this so i'm not sure what i can and can't lose bit confussed

kathykeen, If you're sensitive, I'd go for Sliquid's water-based one. You can use water-based lubes on all sorts of toys and condoms, and Sliquid is very natural when it comes to ingredients. I've not tried it myself yet, so I can't comment on its performance, though.

Water-based lubes go with everything. Don't use silicone lube with silicone toys as it will damage them. More info here http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/buyersguide.cfm?article=6

well I might have to give some of these a try. My wife & I used to used id glide & had loads of fun, both together & when I was by myself, but recently Ive been diagnosed with psoriasis on the end of my cock. Yeah I laughed too. Its bloody horrid & makes penetration, oral & jacking off a real pain & my dick is red all the time. It might make things easier with a lube so Ill give one of these a go & let you now how I get on.

charjoe, there's an excellent non-steroidal product available for helping to clear up psoriasis/eczema: Colloidal Silver & MSM Cream. You can get it mail order from www.greenlifedirect.co.uk

thanks teddy am already on a low rate steroid so will try that one.

Hi Chicksands,
I am no expert in these matters, and the condition you describe can, as you say, be caused by a million things, but the Chinese have been around for yonks, and l wonder if it might be worth your consulting one of their many herbalists, may be worth a try.
Good luck honey.
