Would definitely suggest discussing it with her and getting her consent first.
Explain what you want to do and why. It could be a trial and if she doesnt like it then she doesnt have to do it again

If you just put a tripod down you will not get the most flattering angles and so forth. A camera person would do the best job, can’t get one of those you might have to do that roll as well, will make for a better video and she will probably like the end product. Unless your after the hidden cam look.

If she doesn’t want to do it then she doesn’t want to. Watching in the mirror is very different to filming… You can’t just assume that someone will definitely like something because it appeals to you. Everyone is different 
It’s good that you’ve told her it is something you’d enjoy but in my opinion I think if she’s said no and she’s not comfortable with it then that’s quite clear and you need to leave it as something you’ve discussed and not push it

My partner wants to do this and despite been with him for 5 years and I dont think he would do it, revenge porn is always in the back of my mind. I also am not comfortable with my body and the thought of having to watch my wobbly bits on camera fills me with dread, despite reassurance from my partner. I think its about comprises, ive been thinking about saying ok, will record on my phone as then I am in control of the video, but I’m still hesitant, you could suggest this to your partner.

Its not something I’ve ever considered and not sure I ever would. I’m extremely self conscious and although I’m learning to love myself, not sure that I would want to see myself that uncle and personal.
I would say that if she’s said no, I would leave it and maybe revisit in 6 months. If you keep asking you may find she doesn’t want to do anything with you. You could always ask if she would be happy with you taking some photos of her (and you) just doing sexy poses. That may be a step closer if she is happy with that and likes the end result. You could then progress into more graphic pics of you both. (Maybe a pic while she giving you a blow job or your cock inside her). Maybe then you could advance to short snippets of videos of performing acts on each other, using toys etc ( so no full body shots initially) and then move on from there.

As others has said, have sit down and have a good conversation about it away from the bedroom, and if she’s still not sure. I would leave it as that, and go back to it when the time is right. I’m a big girl and I don’t like my body, but he loves it, and I’ve always wanted to do photos/videos with him, he was up for it. I’ve got quite the collection now

Depends on how she feels about it all as some preferred living in the moment with the mirror watching as it’s live, exciting and your in it with hormone adrenaline compared to watching a video back and being able to analyse everything on a repeat…

Have been videoing for years and it can be quite arousing . If you decide to do it , let me make a few suggestions . The first thing to do is figure out what view you wish and how to get your camera in the correct position . A selfie stick attached to a clamp that can go almost anywhere . I also highly recommend a bluetooth remote that works with almost any smart phone . I have made many a sex video before I found out about the bluetooth remote and that meant much editing time . Lighting is always a challenge . I use up to five lights depending on the shot . Happy filming !
