I'd like to get my boyfriend a thong for Christmas as he said we would be open to trying one. I would like to get him one that is OK for everyday wear and not just for the bedroom or too kinky. Any ladies who's OH wears thongs or guys who wear thongs got any recommendations for something suitable please?

Steph & Mike do you mean mens thongs or ladies thongs? If ladies I'm a 32" waist and go for size 12 from all stores that I have bought from. If it's mens thongs I wouldn't have a clue.

When I'm indoors I usually wear nothing and occasionally I would wear a satin thong. I've wore sissy thongs and they're great too. It can also depend on the mood and the season.

I have been wearing thongs etc for well over 20 years, they have changed a great deal over the years, and now they are extremely comfortable to wear.

My OH wears Hom and Olaf Benz thongs too. He likes the Hom Plume the most and has quire a few pairs. I love them on him too :)

I second this thong from Lovehoney (my favourite one they do, which you can see in my profile pic). Love thongs, as does my OH and I wear them more than boxers now. I have quite a selection and they make a mans underwear drawer much more exciting.
Also like the designer ones, although they are a lot more expensive than the one's you get here on LH.
I have tried loads of different thongs. Most of the small slinky ones are not comfortable to wear all day.
Get him ones with a large waistband and pouch. I have these Armani microfiber thongs and love them:

Just be sure to go a size or 2 up. I am a size 30-32 waist and the medium was a little tight. The large fits perfect.
I like to wear thongs all the time, the ones from LH vary quite a bit. Strechy lace ones, mesh and stripy ones are only for the foreplay and show. The ones with a wider waistband are comfortable to use during the daytime. For normal everyday wear my wife and I found the only shop in towns to stock thongs is Debenhams, but they are not in every shop and it looks as if they are not displayed in the winter. You can order them on-line.
I did get my boyfriend some for Christmas and he seemed to like them and wore them quite a bit over the holiday, he actually decided to try them on Christmas day. We spent Xmas day at my parents but I gave them to him separately in the morning as I wasn't sure he would appreciate opening them up in front of my family!
