Tracey Cox Supersex Beginner’s Butt Plug

Like a Finger

This is the first plug I ever owned to introduce me into the world of anal play and it fits the role of “my first butt plug” fairly well. It’s about the same size as a finger so if you’re familiar with using your fingers this may not present anything new. But if you’re a complete novice (like me), then it will add a pleasant little extra to play time. The toy also came with handy instructions and tips to enjoy anal play which was helpful.

The tip is nicely tapered and the silicone body is firm yet squishy for comfortable insertion with the size just right for a beginner. There’s a seam around the widest part of the plug but I didn’t really notice it during insertion. There aren’t many places for dirt to get trapped so it’s pretty straight forward to clean. I also recommend warming it up a little before insertion if you don’t like the cold but that’s just my personal preference.

Because I’m a complete beginner to anal play, I felt really squeamish and uncomfortable at first but the more I relaxed, the more I enjoyed it. Using an anal douche beforehand also put my mind at ease about any unwanted surprises. This plug also has a big base so there’s no need to worry about it going anywhere it shouldn’t and it’s easy to grab. However, I felt that maybe the base is too wide as it can press against your butt cheeks a little and may even make the plug come out easier than usual. But overall, it’s very comfortable to wear as it’s so soft and flexible.

When I first started using the toy, I had trouble keeping it in at all as it would always try and shoot out like a torpedo if I didn’t hold it in place. I’m not sure if this was due to me not being relaxed enough or the shape of the plug but during my better sessions, the plug didn’t budge. Because of this little uncertainty (will it pop out or not?) I could only really use it with a rabbit so my other hand could hold the plug in place. But I didn’t just hold it still, though; I liked to gently thrust it in and out which led to some surprisingly intense orgasms.

Although inserting it fully feels wonderful, I still like using it like a “fingering dildo” (sorry, that’s the only word that came to mind). It took a few goes to get used to it but I’m glad I persevered. It feels great when used with a rabbit and it adds that extra little spice to my session. The toy has definitely fit the bill of beginner’s butt plug and I now feel ready to move on to other toys.

Lovehoney Satin Drawstring Toy Bag Black

Useful and Stylish

It’s such a shame that Lovehoney no longer sells the purple satin bags (I had a whole colour scheme going on and everything). Oh well, not to worry. The black versions are just as sexy and stylish. It’s nice to the touch and is a good quality material. I’m not sure if it’s just me but the black bags feel different to the purple ones? They seem to feel thicker and stronger to me. It could just be my imagination, though.

These large/long bags are perfect for storing bigger toys like rabbits and dildos. My toy collection would look very unflattering without them as I used to store them in “sandwich bags”. Oh, no. Can’t have that for my special toys now, can I? I always feel my toys are safe and clean in these satin bags. The tie is quite sturdy and I’ve never seen any of my toys poking out or trying to escape.

I still think the RRP is quite high so I always wait until they are on sale and buy a handful at a time. Why buy one when you can have like three for the same price, right? These satin bags are definitely a sex toy storage essential and I’ll always need more for my growing collection. (Aw, I miss those days )

Lovehoney Extra Powerful Multispeed Mains Powered Magic Wand Vibrator

Wonder Wand

I saw how popular this toy was and just had to give it a try. It’s an instant bonus that this is mains powered as it would eat through batteries in no time. It’s quite a large, bulky toy and can be a little difficult to keep discreet. You could try and pass it off as just a massager but I bet no one would believe you. The wire is a decent length and easily reaches from the wall to my bed. Of course, the wire can sometimes get in the way during play but this is the price you pay for a powerful mains toy. It’s also pretty heavy and my arm can get tired from holding it for too long.

It has a hard plastic body and a soft head. The neck is quite flexible but firm enough to know that it won’t snap or anything. I like the smooth top of the head but I’m not really keen on the ridges. They feel a little “sharp” and I find them irritating if they touch my sensitive parts. It’s fine if I’m using the toy over my underwear, though.

The wand is easy to use with a simple turn dial to control the vibration speed. Even on the lowest speed, the wand is very powerful and can be overwhelming for some people. It took me a while to get used to the power of this thing. I don’t think I’ll ever manage to go to max power. As the dial is easy to turn, take care that you don’t accidentally knock it during play as it may be too much to handle. This probably goes without saying but with great power comes great noise. This thing is super loud!

The big vibrating head covers a wider area on your external sweet spots and feels great. The vibrations are so strong that you don’t even have to put the wand directly on them. Even though I’ve heard women can climax in seconds with this toy, my body doesn’t seem to agree. While it still feels great, I just can’t seem to manage to climax with it alone. It’s probably just my body being fussy or I just need more practice. I don’t think it’s the toy’s fault. I still enjoy a good warm-up with it, but the only way I’ve found that I can climax with it is when used with other penetrative toys. This is just how I am, I suppose.

When you use it for a while it starts to get warm on the handle. If you’re using it on the same area for too long, that part of the body will start to feel a little numb which isn’t great as it can take time for me to reach orgasm. I sometimes have to take little breaks for some feeling to come back.

As recommended in the instructions, I put lube on the head of the toy during play. I’m not sure if it’s the lube I’m using or what but it dries very quickly and I have to keep reapplying. It could just be that this is, of course, an external toy and the lube just dries quicker because it has more contact with the air. Just something I’ve noticed.

It can be tricky to clean after use. I spray toy cleaner on the head and wipe it clean with a damp paper towel. I give the main body a little wipe down, too. The body of the toy has little holes/vents in it so you have to be careful not to get any liquid in them. The head ridges are also a pain to clean properly as dirt can easily get stuck in them. I recommend using a little brush for this.

All in all, it doesn’t exactly live up to the hype for me but this doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy using it. I’m going to continue experimenting with it and who knows what I’ll achieve. Not to mention, it’s also great for sore muscles. It’s a winner in my book.

(Update: I barely use this wand these days and prefer to use my smaller handheld ones. I’m still looking to buy a smooth head soon as the ridges on this are such a pain! Probably the Le Wand one as it’s mains rechargeable and the brand has been on a winning streak with me).

Looks old fashioned but does the job

I won’t lie, at first it seemed a little cheap and old fashioned to me but I couldn’t complain for the price. However, I’ve been pleasantly surprised by it after a good few uses. It’s great for internal and external play and the power is really something.

The batteries are placed into a removable compartment so you don’t have to fiddle about with them each time you put them in or take them out. Depending on what brand of batteries you use, the toy will last a pretty long time which is surprising with the amount of power this thing kicks off. The single button interface is easy to use but the only thing I don’t like about it is that it flashes when the pattern settings are on.

When I first switched it on, the bullet/egg practically jumped out of my hand like a Mexican jumping bean. Wow! When it’s inside you, it feels like a mini bolt of lightning which always makes me jump but in a good way. The bullet/egg is made from hard plastic but it’s not uncomfortable to use from what I could tell. I personally prefer stimulation towards the opening of my vagina so I have to keep my hand on the wire to stop it from sneaking in any deeper than I like. I absolutely love having it inside me when my partner gives me oral sex and I’m usually not a fan of that at all. The wire doesn’t get in the way too much and it’s fun to give someone else the controls.

It also makes a great clitoral vibe but it does have a few downsides when used as such. For one, I find the mini bullet pretty useless and always go for the bigger one instead as it’s easier to hold and control. Holding them with your fingers can easily give you that numb feeling after a short time so if it takes a while for you to orgasm, it may become a little frustrating. The vibes are also dulled slightly when held but it still has enough power to get you there in my opinion. It’s a shame that both vibes can’t be used at the same time for some dual stimulation.

There is a good selection of vibrations and patterns to choose from and most of them work for me. I find the vibes more buzzy than rumbly and they are unapologetically loud (unless it’s muffled inside you, of course). The toy will so also remember the last setting it was on…sort of. If you switch it off and on again, it will go to the next setting in line instead of the one you left it on. But if you remove the batteries before switching it on, the settings will start from the beginning. A little random to say the least but the settings are easy to flick through so it’s not a huge issue.

The toy isn’t waterproof at all so you have to be careful when cleaning it. There’s a fine “belt” going around the middle part of the bullet/egg that could trap dirt so having a brush on hand would be helpful here. I spray on a little toy cleaner and wipe it off with baby wipes and tissues instead of washing it which is more fiddly than just shoving it under a tap but that’s just how it is.

It’s got nothing on any of my clitoral vibes but it’s really fun to use as a vibrating egg and I enjoyed using it with my partner. I think a wireless one would be better but this wasn’t bad at all and the wire didn’t really cause me any issues- I guess the wire just makes it look a little outdated, but that’s just me.

(Update: Since been sent to the recycle box. Old battery and plastic toys tend to end up there to make room for better ones)

The Long One

I’ve had this toy on my wishlist for a long time and had high hopes for it but unfortunately, it didn’t fully live up to my expectations. It’s still a decent toy but compared to my other ones, it’s a little disappointing.

For the good points, it’s a lovely deep purple colour and has a nice design for those that dislike realistic looking toys. It has a small tip which is great for teasing and makes insertion easier. The silicone is silky smooth and feels nice. There’s a hole in the bottom to insert a small vibrating bullet if you have one on hand. I find that the toy absorbs most of the vibrations so you’ll only get a light buzz. This hole also helps with grip if you put your finger in it. The toy is also very easy to clean before and after use.

This is a pretty lengthy toy and can take some practice to take the whole thing. It doesn’t have much girth at the top, only near the base. I still like to use it for shallow thrusting along with a bullet or wand on my clitoris and have managed to get some great orgasms this way.

Although the shaft is curved for G-spot pleasure I had trouble stimulating it. I have other G-spotters that do the job with ease. Perhaps the toy isn’t firm enough for this as it’s pretty flexible. I find the suction cup base quite tricky to use. One little knock or bend and it will pop right off. Maybe the suction vacuum is too small or something? Anyway, that’s why I usually just stick to missionary with this one.

This may just be my personal preference but I found the toy too smooth. Most of my toys have a little texture or at least have some form of head. This has virtually nothing. So for me, I didn’t find it that stimulating on the inside.

(Update: This was my go to period dildo a long time as it’s easy to clean afterwards. Then the big blue upgrade came along which I can use anytime and still have a great time).

Lovehoney Power Play 7 Function Love Egg Vibrator

Great Starter Vibe!

This was one of the first toys I purchased for my SO. Overall with low cost (in comparison to other items), the long cord and the ease of use, this was great for relatively discrete public fun (think a cinema), and can surprise the other one in the moment! Cleaning for this toy was easy, the only complaint with that is make sure to not get the battery housing wet!!

The controls are very simple (simple is better), which added to the ease of use. I would highly recommend this if you are looking for a little something to spice it up! Overall, this receives a Happytobehere 5 stars.

Lovehoney Fierce Romance Black Wet Look and Lace Open Cup Body

Apparently I’m just not the Right Shape

Overall, I love the Fierce range from Lovehoney. I have a couple of other pieces, the cut-out mini dress and a bra set - both of which I adore. The make quality of all the pieces is excellent and on that front this is no exception. The trouble is the cut is just not right for me. Bits are fabulous, others are not.

Let’s start with the positives, the cups, straps and neck line are brilliant. I absolutely love the top section of this body. I am a 36A and the cups fit me perfectly. Obviously I don’t have boobs that spill voluptuously out of them but they frame and enhance what I do have and flatter beautifully. In addition the choker part of this is the best I have had on a piece of lingerie, for once it’s tight enough, not throttling as it is stretched downwards but it’s snug and restricting which I love and hugely adjustable if you want it tighter or looser. The shoulder straps also have full bra strap adjustability for ease of fit and the frill detailing of the side to choker straps adds detail and sex appeal and looks great.

The bottom section was where I though I might have an issue, I tend to avoid anything frilly around my hips as I’m distinctly pear shaped with 40" hips and favour a high hip cut and smooth lines but to my delight the little bit of lace actually looked really good and I was very happy with where it sat fairly high on my hips.

Now the problem area, I am just short of 5’9’’ and have a slim (in comparison to the rest of me) 28" waist and the section between the cups and my hips looked terrible. I think I sit towards requiring the upper end of the vertical stretch while through my mid section needed no outwards stretch at all so the material ends up in deformed waves being dragged downwards towards my crotch. It is not uncomfortably short in the body, it just looks terrible as the material is being pulled out of shape. There is a little adjustability in the straps on the back but even on the shortest it looked bad.

To add significant insult to injury, my OH tried it on (not his usual style of undergarment I should add) but jumping piminy it looked so much better on him than it did on me! He is a little taller than I am but has a wider, muscled, male torso and accommodating that meant the material sat smoothly and wasn’t unevenly stretched. It is a bit of a blow to the ego when your boyfriend looks better in your lingerie than you do!

Overall I think this will look fabulous on many people, if you are either somewhat shorter that me or the same height but wider through the midsection so the material is pulled evenly in all directions you’ll look great but for me sadly, this did not work at all.

Seven 'til Midnight Crotchless Pink Lace and Mesh Cage Briefs

Like the color, these are HAWT!!

Design: Out of the bag, I was completely confused. After a couple minutes of phenagling, my SO was able to slip these puppies on and they looked amazing. The strappy design mix with the lace and the ribbon was extremely hot and it overall fit well. She is usually a Small in American clothes, so the fit for the small was perfect.

Quality: The lace and ribbon design were well manufactured. A very soft material was used, which make you want to use these more and more! Highly recommended to hand wash these panties or place them on a delicate cycle.

Pleasure: 5 stars for pleasure here. The nice thing about these crotchless panties is that unlike many types of crotchless lingerie that are strictly open, these ones are closed unless you want them open (and have a slight overlap. These are designed more for penetration than front play, but they definitely spice things up!

Value: I purchased these on 3 for 2 deal and these are more than worth the value. For a little spice up in the bedroom, these are great!

Lovehoney Nubby Textured Sensual Glass Dildo

I bought this on a whim when it was a “Deal of the Week” item and because I have another textured glass dildo that I really love. It also comes with its own bag which is always an added bonus when buying a new toy.

It has an interesting design being fully covered in nubs with a striped colour scheme which can be seen when held up to the light. Being a glass toy it’s of course quite heavy and rigid. You can also experiment with temperature play. The ends of the toy are the same so it doesn’t matter which way you insert it but this doesn’t add anything new either during play. It can be very difficult to grip when it’s wet as there isn’t much to hold on to.

I quite like it for foreplay. Lubing it up and sliding it on my external area to feel all those lumps and bumps. It’s quite stimulating that way. However, once inserted it loses its charm for me. While it has a decent amount of length it is lacking in some much-needed girth. I can barely feel those nubs which is a big shame. I think with some added girth it would have been a wonderful sensation against my internal walls.

Another thing I don’t really like is how straight it is. Most of my dildos and vibrators have some curve in them to go along with the form of the body and are easy to use. This one, however, can sometimes feel quite uncomfortable and even irritating. It just seems to rub against the wrong spots and I have to be careful that I don’t hit them. Again, I believe a curve and some added girth would have made this a much better toy.

That’s not to say this is a bad toy. When I find myself in a comfortable position with it and using a vibrating bullet or wand on my clitoris, I can climax successfully. Admittedly, it can be a little challenging for me because if I thrust it at the wrong angle it can put me off.

After use, it is super easy to clean with some toy cleaner spray. Then I just put it on a paper towel to air dry. The nubs also help to prevent it rolling away when placed on a flat surface.

Mantric Rechargeable Rabbit Vibrator

My New Favourite

I caught this in one of the “Deal of the Day” sales and snatched it up in a heartbeat. I’ve wanted to get my hands on a Mantric toy for a while because they look really pretty and have good reviews. I also didn’t have any rechargeable toys so this will save money on batteries.

The toy comes in its own fancy little cardboard box along with a charge wire and instructions. The toy already had a little charge in it so I tested it to see what it did. Each vibration setting is represented by a different coloured light at the base. This is a pretty handy feature and it makes the toy look quite futuristic. The lights aren’t bright or flashy so they aren’t irritating to the eyes. The design is very nice and it reminds me of a piece of coral. The silicone is high quality and feels so soft to the touch.

Charging is simple with the USB charger which you have to pierce into the self-healing silicone port. Admittedly, I’ve never seen this type of port before and I was being a bit too timid with it in case I broke it. It just needs a good twist and shove and it’s good to go. No need to worry. It slowly flashes as it charges and when it’s done it will stay a solid colour. It has a reasonable charge time but it gives you more than enough play time. I really love having a rechargeable toy and I’ll definitely be buying them from now on.

The vibration settings are fun to flick through and I pretty much like all of them (especially the yellow one). You can only control the settings for both the shaft and rabbit together. This means you can’t choose one setting for one part and one for another separately like some other rabbits. This isn’t a problem for me as I quite like this set up. The toy isn’t that loud either which is a big bonus.

The bulbous tip feels amazing as it slides in and out with ease. I find the rabbit part quite hard and rigid. It doesn’t quite nuzzle your clitoris, more like pokes it. I think this is because the toy doesn’t fit me exactly which can be an issue with rabbits. If I fully insert the shaft to reach my G-spot, the rabbit pushes down hard on my clitoris and feels uncomfortable. However, if I just insert the head of the shaft with the rabbit resting gently on my clitoris, oh, boy! Basically a guaranteed orgasm for me every time. This has now become my go-to toy if I want to see fireworks.

Controls are easy as it only has a single button. The base is easy to hold on to during play and I’ve never had an issue with losing grip or pressing the button accidentally. The flat base is also handy when you want to put it down anywhere or to air-dry it. As it’s a smooth silicone toy that’s waterproof it’s an absolute breeze to clean.

It’s definitely one of my favourite toys and I would highly recommend it if you’re looking for a luxury rabbit.

Lovehoney Dark Orchid Navy Satin and Lace Robe

A Premature Reveal

Thanks for sending me this sensual robe to review, Lovehoney.

The deep midnight colour is so sexy in itself and the shiny satin material bounces light off your curves. It has some great femme fatale vibes and the navy pops against my pale skin. Probably not what you want to read for a bedroom robe, but it kinda reminds me of medical scrubs going by the colour and the way it’s worn on top.

Besides a few minor stray threads that can be easily cut off, the quality is lovely in both the satin and lace which glide softly over the skin. However, this supreme silkiness is the main downfall of the garment (literally). It slips off like it has an obsession with exposing my chest. You’d have to be really brave to run down the stairs and answer the front door to the postie put it that way. I doubt you’d get past the bedroom door without a tit or nipple popping out.

I love the floral lace detailing around the arms and shoulders. Gives it a hint of seductive magnetism without being over the top. Like a pair or racy bat wings. The same detailing is around the thighs to draw some attention there. It also shows off a bit of your back and side boob area. Goes without saying, but lace and satin won’t be keeping you warm at all - especially if it refuses to stay on.

The ties don’t help much apart from attempting to cinch in at the waist. The small inner one at least keeps the bottom half in place, but the long waist one is another story. It’s not so much that the knot you do is untying itself; more that the robe underneath is slipping past. All that length and I still can’t manage to wrangle the roaming robe! I’d even say the main belt is a bit too long. If you leave the robe open, it’s floating not far from the floor. It will also slink through the loops as you move around. Talk about a balancing act.

As a 5’1 UK size 8, the bottom half covers a fair portion of my thighs and stops just above the knees - not too low or high which I like. It sits nicely there and the eyelash lace isn’t tickly like I expected. The top half on the other hand is quite loose and awkward looking. Like it’s too big, twisted or bunched? It’s sexy if you wear it around your shoulders to show even more skin, but then it falls down way easier. My partner said it may be more suited to someone with bigger boobs and curvier curves? I just know my mosquito bites didn’t help much.

There’s teasing elements from the lace and open chest, but it’s tricky if you can’t always control when and what to put on show. Even if you had some secret, sexy lingerie underneath the surprise may be prematurely revealed. A quick removal may also be out the question since the extra tie is on the inside. Pulling a cord or two to escape is easy enough, though.

It hangs up in the wardrobe and it stays on better if it’s on a textured hanger or over another bit of clothing. The dark material means that any light fluids like toothpaste and human snail trails stand out. Washing was quite straight forward on a cold, gentle wash in the machine. I also put it in a mesh bag for extra protection. There didn’t seem to be any colour transfer, but it did get a little creased so you’d have to follow basic silk rules to remove those.

Overall, I thought it looked amazing and the quality is great - but that’s mainly when I’m not wearing it. I felt that I was constantly fixing it as it slicked out of place which was frustrating. I preferred to wear mine open since I didn’t have to worry about ties and concealment then. My partner didn’t think it was that impressive, either. Just a plain robe to him. It’s no doubt way sexier than my everyday house robe, but at least I can trust it to keep me covered.

I love this thing. The 4 settings are excellent and go all the way from a good tease to one that made me come quickly with no say in the matter. Some of the intensities had quite big jumps in between then, especially the first and second, but i enjoyed them all. The toy fits well in the hand and I even managed to use it hands free, as the shape is perfect for clamping your thighs around (just try not to grind too much as it did knock the nozzle out of place).

Suction toys aren’t the quietist toys out there, but under the covers or when against the skin this was definitely quiet enough for a shared house.

Control wise, you do have to hold the on button for a while before it turns on, but once its on you can flick up and down the intensities easily, and it switches off nice and fast. Both the buttons are also different sizes so easy enough to identify, even in the dark.

Its not the easiest thing to clean as there are quite a few nooks, but its submersible so i dont have too worry too much when getting it wet. Slightly tricky to drip dry as it doesnt like to sit. upside down.

There aren’t any patterns, but what it does have is excellent and definitely enough for me to use it again and again. The only downside is the finickity charging cable, which is quite easy to knock off. But for the intense orgasms this gives me, i’ll happily put up with it any day of the week.

Lovehoney Dark Orchid Navy Satin and Lace Robe

Superbly Flattering with a Luxury Feel

I love the rich navy blue colour and the satin and lace design of this robe, it is just gorgeous and feels truly devine to wear.

It is a satin weave of a polyester and an elastane mix and feels incredible. I adore the material, it feels like pure seductive luxury against my skin. It is silky and slippy and skims and flatters every curve on my body hanging so beautifully while horizontal 2-way stretch means it never catches or feels uncomfy. The lace arms, soft and in no way itchy, add detail broadening the appearance of my chest and balancing out my peariness.

I am just short of 5’9’', size 12-14 and got the one size option I am distinctly pear shaped with only 36A boobs, a slim waist but a very sizeable, rotund but highly pert bottom. This robe hangs so well on me, the hem due to lack of boobs and excess of bottom is higher at the back than the front and in profile this looks really cute. It is a little longer than the usual barely covering privates robes and sits the perfect length on me with the lace just below my bottom behind and hanging lower and more conservatively in front while still being lacey see through from mid thigh. The asymmetric appearance of the hem also slims and lengthens the appearance of my legs so positives all around. It is very flattering and I love how I look in it and how it makes me feel.

Not quite everything is perfect, it has the internal ties a number of robes do to help them stay closed and in general I’m a fan of these. Unfortunately, unlike in my other robes in this one they’re not level. The tie is attached significantly lower on the left so it makes the left side gape open when tied to the higher point on the right so I can’t use the internal ties.

My second problem is that it is such a silky, slippy fabric (which for every other aspect is brilliant) that if the belt tie is not secured you will lose it as it slips out easily. I would prefer it if it was sown in along the back. Strangely though, the tied bow stays in very securely despite the slippery material.

After a while of wearing, if I’m moving around a lot the inability to use the internal ties and the gorgeous silkiness of the material does mean that while the tie stays securely fixed the robe slips open becoming very revealing. This is not a problem for me but be aware of it if you are concerned about showing more than you want to.

It says to cool handwash only and thus far I have only handwashed it as it feels so lovely I don’t want to risk hurting it but polyester and elastane should be okay in a delicate machine wash so it will probably be washed that way at some point. Ask me then if it survives but for peace of mind I would handwash it.

I was very lucky to recieve this robe as a tester product from LH but I can’t wait to see what the rest of the range in the Dark Orchid collection are as I am always after quality navy underwear and I love the style and almost everything else about this robe so I will be getting more pieces to go with it.

A very solid 9 out of 10. I adore this robe and will wear it a lot but there are a couple of small details that take away from perfection.

Liberator Sex Wedge

Great for the fun! Pricing is a bit high

Quality: The material is silky smooth and the pillow itself is very firm and comfortable for any and many positions. I really enjoyed the use of memory foam for this as it has the correct balance of firm, but not hard. The microfiber case itself is easy to take off and clean for the next round!

Pleasure: The angle it sets you up at is perfect, just about every time. Almost too good, if you know what I am saying!

Value: The price tag is high. Did I buy it anyways? Absolutely. Did it perform as per spec and packaging? Yup. Am I upset with my purchase? Absolutely not. Did my wallet have a dent afterwards? Yes. The Liberator would be great if it were priced about 25% lower, but it is one of the only ones truly like this on the market, so they can afford to leave it priced exactly where it is. If you are on a budget, this is great to stick with over the wedge ramp combo!

This is The One - I’m in Love!

OMG - The best, the absolute best G-spotter I have ever used.

This toy screams luxury, no that’s the wrong word, this toy doesn’t scream anything it just seductively whispers orgasmic luxury.

Starting with the box, yes, there’s a cardboard outer, don’t worry about this, there’s nothing wrong with it but compared to what’s inside it’s for your recycling bin. Inside, you get the most fabulous, padded, luxurious zip up black box, with just the Agent Provocateur imprinted logo to feel by touch on the top. Inside, your beautiful new G-spotter and it’s charging cable are held in separate moulded compartments. It’s gorgeous.

Out of the box and onto the first feel, well the silicone is the best I’ve ever felt, it is so soft and the give and squishiness all along the shaft feels great. It has a lot of bend and give half way up which was very disappointing when I was first looking at it because I thought, “Well it looks and feels amazing but I’m not going to get the pressure where I want so it’s not going to work for me” … how very, very wrong I was about this!!!

The buttons are very cleverly designed. Push and hold the top one to turn on or off and press it to cycle through strengths. 3 strengths are available for each vibration setting. The bottom button controls the pattern, when first turned on you have a constant vibration, fast pulsing next, then slow pulsing, patterned pulsing, a pulsing wave, a smooth wave, changing speeds of pulsing and finally constant and pulses. Whatever strength setting you’ve selected with the top button holds for each pattern setting you move to until you change the strength. There are two purple lights to the side of the buttons that match whatever the vibrations are doing changing their brightness to match the intensity. The buttons also serve as the port for the magnetic charger. Everything about this toy is so well thought out and designed.

Charging is easy, the toy has a magnetic USB charge cable with pretty secure magnets that clip to the toy’s button controls. During charging, the lights flash and once fully charged remain lit. After a good few uses it was still working fine but I charged it anyway. It didn’t take long to fully charge so I’m going to say the battery life is excellent especially since it has been on constant vibe full power most of the time.

Now, in use…

The vibes are very quiet, barely audible when inserted. They travel so deep through the front wall of my vagina and angled forward moving inwards and outwards that very flexible bend that I was so skeptical of creates the perfect come hither motion activating my G-spot like no toy has managed before. I honestly don’t know how it does it! Maybe the combination of bend, squish, prominent ridges and penetrating vibrations? The vibes don’t feel the strongest I’ve used by a fair way but they are just so very, very effective.

Lovehoney Fierce Tough Love Wet Look Studded Open-Cup Teddy

Sleek and sexy.

I bought this for my wife to wear when it was a Black Friday special after having it on the wishlist all year. We have a couple items from the Lovehoney Fierce wet look collection and have just adored it.

If you know Lovehoney, you know that it ships discreetly and is always packed securely.

First impressions were that it’s the same quality as the rest of the series: nice shine to the outside, soft and comfy on the inside. The metal studs add nice detailing and don’t have a scratchy metal backing that some cheaper items we’ve worn have had. Because this piece is open-cup and has lots of strappy details, including thigh harnesses, it takes just a minute to orient it before putting it on.

Wife is 5’7" 165#, 36DD, and usually between US8-12, so we went with the size large. There are lots of points for adjusting the fit (shoulder straps, back cinch, each thigh strap) and with no cups to contend with fit there is not an issue. Wife is a little long in the torso, so all these adjustment points are fantastic.

When she got it on, she was stunning, and this teddy looked like it was made for her - hugging her tightly in all the right spots and showing off my favorite bits, teasing me to play. I could barely contain myself. The crotchless design allows great access for all manner of activities, though it is not optimal for anal play (the open thong has to go somewhere, and you could work around it if you wanted). Like other teddy/body pieces from the FIERCE series, this one shines in the light. She said she felt so sexy in it, and loves how it hugs and shapes her body to a sleek, smooth finish without being restricting like a corset.

We weren’t sure we’d like the thigh straps and initially thought it would be nice if there was an option to detach them easily, but they fit just fine and do complement the teddy well.

This is an excellent addition to our collection and as always love the quality and service from Lovehoney. I hope this piece is restocked so future shoppers can enjoy it as much as we have.

Agent Provocateur X Lovehoney Salsa Silicone Bullet Vibrator

Wow! I never thought I’d have something from Agent Provocateur in my bedroom, but here we are. An undisclosed thank you to Lovehoney for sending me this to review. I was intrigued by the branding since AP are more known for their pricey lingerie and I wanted to see LH’s spin on it. The thin, pink cardboard box I saw at first was underwhelming. However, inside concealed the real deal. It actually comes in a sturdy, leathery case which was a nice surprise. Seemed pretty crush-proof and there’s foam indents to keep everything neat in there. It opens stiffly at a right-angle, but it will eventually have more give in it. The only potential downside with the case is that it’s several times the size of the small toy - so may not be great if you’re short on space. I also like that the case and vibe have both brands stamped on them for that quality feel.

The dual density is interesting. A squishy tip with a solid inner skeleton and the other button half is firmer. Reminds me of a thumb. I’m used to having harder bodied bullets, so pressing it on my clit without getting the same dense pressure ensured a comfortable play every time. It felt more like an extra digit rather than a toy once it warmed up to my body temperature. No pinching or rattling against other toys, but it did “wah-wah” on the higher settings a little.

It has a simple design and it’s very lightweight. Easy to clean overall with the plastic button area being the only part that needs a tad more effort. All waterproof too which is great! If you’re looking at the bent shape and hoping for some G-spot action, then I’m afraid you’ll be disappointed. It didn’t quite reach and I think even if it did then the squishy tip isn’t suited for the deed. Oh well. Back on the clit it goes! Almost like it’s getting more excited or angrier? A pet peeve of mine is flashing lights which this has. They aren’t super bright and have more of a faded hue, though. Best advice is to keep the thing out of sight under a duvet if you’re easily distracted. Helps to avoid staring into those soulless, judging eyes.

My fave way to hold it was with the “face” facing towards me otherwise it felt awkward. Even in this better position, it’s possible to knock the buttons accidentally. It’s only happened once or twice before I got used to handling it, though. Another position is to lay it slightly on its side so it curves around your clit if it’s a lefty or a righty.

On the lowest setting, the noise is barely noticeable. Great if you’re trying to complete a covert pull off! The squishy tip also seems to dampen the din. The higher settings have a buzzier tone to them which can be slightly off-putting in comparison, but they aren’t loud enough for the next room to hear. It’s not just the noise either that drones. The vibes themselves are on the soft buzzy side rather than rollin’ rumbly which came across as gentle or weak. Not really ideal for power queens - more for those that like quieter low-mid vibes. This gave me slow build orgasms instead of hit-by-a-train ones. The gentler vibes also helped to prolong the orgasm since I could leave the toy on my clit without getting over stimulated. As is usually the case, vibes complement other vibes; went blissfully well with my Dorcel vibrating dildo!

The two buttons control the patterns and three intensity levels. I like that I don’t have to flick through the whole thing just to get back to the constants at the start - you can simply switch the patterns off. I don’t usually bother with patterns, but I actually enjoyed some of these for once. Increasing the intensity of a pattern also upped the speed and pace which made them fun to experiment with. I relished the jittery one that came after the constants, for example. There’s this one pattern that sounds like it’s trying to sing a weird melody, too…

It comes with a travel lock to keep things classified, but I don’t think it’s that helpful? If you’re keeping it in the case, then it’s very unlikely to get accidentally pressed. And even when it’s in lock mode, it still gives cheeky flash ‘n’ buzz to confirm it is indeed a vibrator. But tapping the buttons the same way when it’s off doesn’t give the game away. Hmm… Just seemed a bit backwards?

Another thing it has in common with Jason Voorhees is that it refuses to die! The battery life is more than fair and I didn’t even get to see mine run out before recharging. The instructions say it lasts about 75 minutes. I mainly used it on the lower speeds so that may have helped. It charges magnetically via the buttons which is cool. Most toys with this method tend to have extra prongs somewhere, so props to the Salsa for a cleaner design. Those pink peepers will blink while charging and finish on a glare when full. It attached securely when the toy was laying flat on my desk.

I may not love this vibe as much as my Vedo Luv or Desire bullet, but it still has plenty of pluses. Even they can’t beat that squishy head and how quiet it can be. Good if you’re looking for a gentle, secret lover. It also gets my vote for a travel vibe with that hard case and battery life. While it has a few weird quirks, I didn’t find the issues annoying or off-putting enough to shove it to the back of the toy drawer. So I’d say it’s around the 4.5 mark for me. Mission completed successfully, Agent Thumb.

Lovehoney Deluxe Wand Silicone G-Spot Head Attachment

A Little Extra

I don’t really use my Lovehoney Classic Mains Wand too much these days which is a shame so I bought this to improve it in some way. Even though the product title says Deluxe, it fits securely on my Classic wand with a bit of lube. Beware - if you skip out on the lube, it will be a huge pain to get off. There’s a little bit of overhanging material but the attachment won’t budge during use.

Well, there’s no way to not compare it to Gonzo in the looks department but the design’s heart is in the right place. The curved shaft and nubby front are intended for dual G-spot and clitoral stimulation to imitate a rabbit. There’s also an extra nub on the back for more precise attention to the clitoris. The shaft is very thin and would be great for a beginner but I would prefer something more filling and with extra shape or texture. It will press on your G-spot if you angle it right and I found that adding a butt-plug into the mix made the pressure more intense. The silicone is good quality and is firm yet flexible.

I already find my bulky mains wand a bit cumbersome to use so adding this does little to combat that. One of the things I do like is that it covers up those annoying ridges on the wand head so I’m just rubbing against smooth silicone. The cover will also dull the vibes a little but that’s no problem for a mains powered toy. The vibrations run surprisingly well down the shaft and it makes a great external teaser.

It’s tricky to use as you have to find a good balance of penetrative and clit stimulation which is easier said than done with a big ol’ heavy wand. If you pull back to make it hit your G-spot, it will take some focus off the clitoris and vice versa. I have to use two hands for this task; one on the main body and one on the head which could make my hand go a little numb if I wasn’t careful. It always took me a while to climax with it this way and I had to really work it - but when I did, I got some really intense ones. The front nubs didn’t do much to add to my pleasure and I felt I had to rub up hard against them or I’d get nothing. When used just as a giant clit vibe, I had no real issues with it and it wasn’t much different than using the wand with no attachment.

After use, it comes off with a little wiggle here and there and is very easy to clean with some toy cleaner. I still have the tricky task of cleaning the mains wand but that just comes with the territory.

Overall, I think it made my mains wand more useable by turning it into a make-shift rabbit and eliminating friction from the wand head ridges in general. I would prefer to put this on now to add some versatility and comfort. However, it’s not the easiest thing to use so I probably won’t always be reaching for it.

Looking at my growing toy collection, I noticed something was missing. Then it hit me. I need a big boy! Something truly filling and satisfying. Lovehoney Small Satin Drawstring Toy Bag

Small but roomy

I’ve bought quite a lot of the large Lovehoney satin bags so I thought I’d give the smaller ones a try when they were on sale. They are always a useful basket filler for the price. These bags are decent quality and have a nice silky feel to them. Along with the cool Lovehoney logo, the colour scheme is also stylish and sexy. My collection looks much more luxurious in these than in those plastic sandwich bags I sometimes use. The tie is sturdy so there is little risk of the toy falling out afterwards and I know it will be safe and clean in there until its next use. There’s no escape. Muhaha!

These smaller bags are just over half the size of the larger bags so I don’t consider them to be all that small. You’ll still have loads of room for small toys such as bullets, butt-plugs and bits of lingerie. It feels a bit of a waste to have all that extra space, so smaller bags may be better for them (especially if you keep all your toys separate like I do). However, these bags fit my large Lovehoney butt-plug and Mantric Rabbit in perfectly, so I hope that can give you some perspective of the size.

While I think the large satin bags are an essential for larger toys like dildos and rabbits, I’m not sure where I stand with these smaller ones. Yes, they are handy but very roomy for small toys. I’m not saying you shouldn’t use them- it just depends on what you want to put in there.

(Update: I haven’t bought the LH satin bags in ages. One reason is because they last a while, but also because of the price. I remember the bags being the perfect basket fillers when they were on sale to knock the balance over a certain amount when you needed to. Another factor is that more toys tend to provide their own storage these days.)
