I would say if you can't decide maybe now isn't the right time to get one. It's going to be on you forever so to me it has to be something that really grabs you and you love. I always wait a bit between decision and committment aswell incase I change my mind.
An example, my friend really wanted a drangonfly on her hip until her then partner turned round and said why would you want an animal that is known for hovering above stagnant water tattooed above your fanny? that changed her mind lol
