I empathise here. We had to curtail our NYE party and leave earlier (just after midnight) .I have an energy sapping virouss but not quite flu .Quite surprised I lasted as long as I did. As we bought advanced tickets we felt we had to go rather than waste our money. It was a good night out but would have been great if I could have lasted. For obvious reasons I didn't give out any New Year kisses which disappointed a few !
