Please help me choose a new vibrator. I am getting desperate.

I have made some purchases recently that just don't work for me. I used to have a pretty basic silicone G spot vibe I used clitorally that was fab a few years ago but since it died I can't find something I like.

The main problems I have are that I hate buzzing and prefer rumbling but strong rumbles. The biggest thing that turns me right off though is when the vibrations are felt through the fingers holding the vibe. All I can think abouit is getting "white finger" LOL. And I hate the wand type, too wide.

To summarise, I need a bendy flexible vibe made of silicone that has a strong rumbly bullet that can be directed precisely to the clitoris that doesn't transfer vibrations along the shaft to your hand. It doesn't have to be superquiet.

Any thoughts ? TIA.

Errrr - good luck - don't know how to advise you as I am not really a vibe type of girl anyway.

I am sure someone will come up with something suitable for you.

Welcome and enjoy xxx

i have just bought and tested the G-Tickler and found it awesome. i have 3 vibrators 2 bullets and an egg. i do enjoy alot of clit play with penatration and this most certainly does that. i would recommend 100% x with 3 speeds and 4 patterns can't go wrong. Bonus x

I have this. Personally I hate it as its very flexible, I prefer a rigid vibe. It seems to be similar to the old one you mentioned?

I think your criteria is going to fall foul on a lot of toys, if you want rumbles that transfer well into your body, then they're going to transfer into your hand too.

My thoughts are this:

Maybe you could try an attachment for a wand?

This could be used for mor pin-point clitoral stimulation on a wand

or perhaps this

Alternatively, if you have a decent vibe that does rattle your fingers too, maybe yu could try to dampen the hand-end by maybe wrapping it in a bandage, or a sock or something?

The other thing that comes to mind is the rosa http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=30909 which is rumbly but refined too, althouhg if that does take your fancy you can get the rouge model for teh same price atm http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=31874. It's a G-spot toy, but it is pretty awesome used exterally as a clit vibe.

Me and my girlfriend have just bought this one and find it fab! 15 settings, 2 motors and feels amazing.. highly recommend! X

Hmm. Rumbly vibrations will likely still transfer some to your hand, but shouldn't be too numbing unlike buzzy ones. My favourite rumbly vibe so far is the Tango, but if I'm applying loads of pressure on it then yeah, it does make my hand numb. Otherwise it's actually fine for me.

Perhaps try something a little longer, like those designed for G-spot stimulation since the motor is at the head and not where you hold it. The Prism maybe? http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=35385

Errrk....90 quid for a vibrator ???

The 5O SOG one I won't buy on principle. That is one fucked up abusive relationship being glorified there. And it is very similar to a Tracey Cox G spot vibe that just buzzed the hell out of my fingers.

Surely I am not asking for the impossible ? Thanks for trying to help, btw.

It's true what they say when the saying is "you get what you pay for" - In terms of sex toys, these luxury brands are much better in terms of quality, shelf-life and materials. They are generally rumbly as apposed to buzzy too. The Prism for example is one of the best G-Spot vibes on the market at the moment. It's not flexible though.

A cheaper (again not flexible) alternative to the Prism is this one by Lovehoney Desire? http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=33303

If it doesn't HAVE to be insertable or G-Spot focused then the We-Vibe Touch and Mimi Soft Touch come to mind. Again, not the cheapest but both of these have a slightly squishy tip making them easier to place where you want them. There's a discount code floating around peoples emails at the moment that may make them more affordable :)

Oops! Missed the flexible bendy bit. But +1! I've not personally found good rumbly vibes for cheap unfortunately. Cheaper ones tend to be majorly buzzy (not a rule, but just in general). But I've not tried any of the LH Desire line, so you could give that a go :)

The fab one I had was about 25 quid.

I have lost hope. Thanks for your help guys.

Aww :/ You could wait for sales/discount codes - I got my We-Vibe Tango for a little over 30 with a promo code, and your first purchase off LH gives you some OH points to spend as well. Alternatively, try some of the cheaper ones with good reviews and that mention whether it's rumbly/buzzy, and give it a go? LH does returns after all :)

Hi there, maybe the Lovehoney vibrator finder may help you - see link below. You can select the type of toy you want, and then narrow it down by size, price etc. xx

The Desire one I linked to you yesterday is on sale. It's £35 today and as I said before there are discount codes around in emails if you're signed up to them :)

^ Ok it seems to have gone back to full price for me again now :/. Ignore my last post then!
