Hi all, newbies here. Early 40's cpl.
Looking at lingerie, with an eye on Mrs' self confidence (!)
Some of the plus-size stuff is great but there seems to be a real issue with cup size/coverage - ie when you look at the items they seem to be made for larger ladies with little boobs. Mrs is a size 14/16, tall at 5'7 with a 38/40h bust. Whilst we appreciate most of the lingerie is designed primarily for play not support, it would be nice if there was a wider range. As an example - we recently tried a product (bodystocking) that was plus sized - Mrs couldnt get it right up her legs to even see if it was a fit over her boobs, it seemed to be for a 5'0" plus sized wearer! In these circumstances confidence can of course take a knock!
Anyone got any real-world experience of products offering a good fit as per our thread?

I'm really sorry to hear you weren't happy with your last purchase.
Nicole's recommendation of the iCollection Plus Size Lace Chemise and Satin Ribbon Set is an excellent one. Our plus size model seemed quite happy with it. She's a size 14 and a 34G.
Another good choice is the iCollection Plus Size Racer Back Brocade Corset and G-String Set. The style gave her a lovely shape and supported her bust. She wore a size 1X. :-)

I just realised I made a typo in my reply to lenny - the model was a size 16, rather than 14. Sorry about that.
Size 14 is usually considered 'standard' size, but if you have a big bust you might find it more comfortable to move up a dress size to allow for a better and more supportive fit.
It's not so bad with soft cup lingerie, but can be tricky to get right with cup sized styles. Also depends on brand - some are more/less generous than others!

I've gone up a dress size or few too, and am a 14, should I be looking into plus size things?
Body shap very odd due to being a very toned 14... keep considering plus size modelling even.

Thanks all. Ordered the 1/x chemise and the 2/x brocade corset - will let you know how we get on x
So just to re-cap, the 1x2x chemise is about right in size - quite "fitted" around the bum but I suspect the bigger size (3x4x) may be too loose in terms of support in the bust area.
She doesn't know which colour to return as they are both pretty lol.
The brocade corset - no chance!! Ordered a 2x, nowhere near big enough so thats a return. Still 1/2 not bad going (actually 2/3 if I get my way!!).

Just a note Lenny, I'm a size 16 in most normal clothes, but I've found when ordering lingerie, sometimes I've had to go up to 2X-3X because of my body shape (I've built muscle around shoulders and back etc) so having the inches next to it is a godsend! If your wife is comfortable with it, use her measurements to order and hopefully this will avoid any "eep this is too small!" type moments :)
