This little vibrator is something every couple should own. It’s become an absolutely central to us. Firstly, it’s exceptionally well made. The material feels incredibly soft, yet it looks like it’s going to last forever. The recharger works well and the charging pin is so well hidden that it’s unnoticeable during sex. It’s totally waterproof and feels really nice and slippery when wet. Finally, the actual vibrator is INCREDIBLY powerful for its size. DOMINIX Deluxe Metal Connector Chain 28 Inch

Don’t think you need this? Think Again

So you’ve clicked on the link to the Dominix Deluxe Metal Chain, and you’re thinking do I need this? What benefit can this possibly bring to my bondage sessions?

Well let me tell you right here right now, you need this. You need this like the flowers need the sun to grow.

Firstly a few stats. The chain is 60cm long, it weighs 208g, comprises 37 links with a connector at each end. Each link is 25mm long and the connectors are 55mm.

The build quality on this is top notch, I feel like I have really put it to test and it has withstood everything I have asked of it. I think this will last years, and years and years.

The first time I used these was actually as a nipple clamp. I’m not really sure why I thought it would make a good nipple clamp, but I thought I’d give it a go, and holy moly it’s good!

The connectors are quite small, but once I managed to squeeze my nipple in, the pinch was just exquisite, it’s not as hard as crocodile clips, but due to the small surface area, it created a really intense pinch. And the weight of the chain means that your nipples aren’t just being pinched, they are being pulled as well.

Since there are connectors at both ends you can also connect the chain to other things, either weights to create an even more intense pulling sensation, or to some cuffs, or as we did, a spreader bar. With the chain at only 28inches, this means you always have bend over or crouch or you get some serious pulling of the nipples going on until the chain pings off!

I have a 30 inch spreader bar, which I also purchased here on Lovehoney. It is one of my favourite pieces of bondage gear, and with this chain my enjoyment of it has hit new heights.

The absolute best way of using this chain, in my opinion, is to combine it with the Dominix Deluxe heavy metal cuffs and the spreader bar. One end of the chain connected to the cuffs and one end ended connected (via carabiner) to the spreader bar.

I am 5’8’’ (173cm), and this chain is just the right length for this use, with my arms in front of me, I am afforded some lateral movement, but I am unable to raise my arms.

Arms behind the back in this manner and there is very little movement at all.

This to me is like proper incarceration, I love it, and psychologically it gets me aroused every time.

It also acts as an easy to grab handle for leading.

I have plenty more uses planned as well, including chaining to a radiator, using to create a hogtie effect and some genital clamping, but at the time of review I haven’t tried this yet.

I love this way more than any leather or soft material tie, for many reasons. One is it’s weight, when you are using this, you know you are in bondage. Second, is it’s feel - it is cold against the skin, and this just adds further sensation to whatever kind of play you are doing. Third is the sound it makes - as you move it sounds like a metal chain (because it is), and this just drills home that you bound. Fourth is its effect on my mentality - with this on, I just know I am in for a good time. I really cannot emphasise this last point enough. It is proper dungeon worthy equipment.

You may think this is just be a steel chain, but it really isn’t; it has bought so much to my bondage play.

Just when you thought the Magic Wand couldn’t get more magical

Julian Snelling Rosebud Light Aluminium Large Jewelled Butt Plug

A real princess plug

I already own both the large and small Julian Snelling steel Rosebud plugs, so when I found out I was getting this as a tester I was ridiculously overexcited - thank you, Lovehoney!

The packaging for this plug isn’t over the top like it can be with other luxury products, it simply comes in a small blue drawstring bag with the Rosebuds logo on, which would be ideal for gift-giving.

First impressions: this plug is absolutely beautiful. I couldn’t find a single flaw anywhere on it! It’s the exact same size as the large steel version - I checked! - but with a slightly different finish. The steel versions have a mirror shine to them, but these have a shimmery satin finish that’s just as smooth as the steel version and twice as lovely.

The silver Rosebud logo printed on the stem leads to the real focal point of the plug: the crystal.

I’ve been hankering over the clear crystal for months and it didn’t disappoint; like the rest of the gems in the Rosebuds range, it reflects fragments of light into what looks like a mini nebula effect under dim lighting, which is not only pretty but also a little humorous… What’s not funny about being able to cast dancing kaleidoscope lights on the wall by wiggling your butt?

The real difference between the steel plugs and these ones are the weight - the large steel version weighs a hefty 170g, while the large aluminium plug weighs in at a positively diminutive 70g, which is 20g LESS than the small steel plug. I’m not 100% sure as I haven’t done any science-y tests involving temperature gauges and a white lab coat, but I think that the aluminium absorbs heat much quicker than the steel does, which is a nice bonus if you’re into temperature play and it makes warming up the plug before use less of a faff than it is with the steel, which can take a while to warm through properly.

The lollipop-esque shape of this plug makes it simple to insert, plus it’s compatible with any kind of lubricant; I like using an oil-based one from Yes. I’d recommend warming up with a slimmer toy before trying to use this one, as metal toys often feel larger than their silicone counterparts due to the firmness and lack of squish - what measurements feel small in silicone might not feel quite as petite in metal!

I actually prefer using this plug during penetration than either of my steel ones, as it’s much lighter and feels less like there’s additional pressure there, just a gentle, faint fullness. It actually stays put too, so if you’re into that whole ‘remove a plug at the point of orgasm’ thing, you’ll have to do it yourself, but if you’re like me and like your plugs to stay where you put them, you’re in luck!

Getting a spanking with this plug in is a really fun experience, too, and using a vibrator against the base while it’s inserted makes for some interesting sensations. Unfortunately, though, like with my other two steel plugs, using firmer toys - like glass dildos, for example - in conjunction with this is a no-go zone. Ow. No.

The one thing this plug doesn’t do that my large steel one does is give me additional G-spot stimulation. Thanks to the weight of the steel, it pushes against my G-spot indirectly when I sit, lie, or get moved into certain positions - it’s difficult to describe but it’s an amazing sensation that gives me goosebumps all over! As this is much lighter, it doesn’t move around in the same way - however, this one’s considerably easier to wear out and about due to the reduced weight and, like I said earlier, I prefer using this during penetration than either of my steel ones. Swings and roundabouts, right?

Overall? I love it. It’s a beautiful, durable plug that gives me a sparkly galactic princess butt! Annabelle Knight Wow! Powerful Classic Vibrator

Certainly lives up to the name

I bought this vibrator to replace my old faithful which was starting to look a bit shabby, so I was expecting something similar.

Oh my goodness, how wrong I was! I have been using vibrators for about 15 years now and have never encountered one like this. It is way more powerful than anything I’ve used before, so much so that I can bring myself to orgasm in easily under a minute. I’d been feeling pretty frisky all weekend, so what better excuse did I need to try this out for size!

I purchased the njoy Pure Plug 2.0 and its slightly smaller sibling, the njoy Pure Plug Large, a few weeks ago, but hadn’t had an opportunity to play with them until now.

The beauty of these restraints is that they are SO versatile: the clips mean that they can be attached to each other, to the collar, around pretty much anything. They can be fed through the D-ring of the other restraint for a tighter, restricted feel. These really are a fantastic alternative to handcuffs, in terms of aesthetic, comfort and versatility. As with the gag, they are tremendously easy to use and adjust, and are much less fiddly than handcuffs. The cost of the kit is worth it for these alone!

The collar and lead: Again, not something we’d ever really consider buying on its own, but it has certainly added an extra dynamic to our play sessions, particularly when teamed with the restraints, as they can be attached together. It does have a massive visual kink factor, particularly when used with the collar, and is just as comfortable as the restraints (although it depends on how hard you’re pulling the lead… :p)
