First of all I have had clearance from Lovehoney to mention this exhibition( I did't want to break any rules ) as I wanted to know if they were exhibiting at this show which unfortunately they won't be there. I am Ok To ask if anyone else is going as long as no arrangements are made for meet ups, which is fine by me.
So Is anyone going?
As anyone been to this type of show or similar before and as I havn't ,what can I expect?
I also have to asume it will be for over 18s only as well and not a family type show:)
My wife and I are going, we've also booked a table for the after dark supper club. Not at all sure what to expect from it but should be fun none the less
Gald to see some of you are going but I have to ask this question again .
Does anyone know what to expect from this type of show?
I will explain my rationale for this question here. My concern is that I have seen snippets of fetish shows on programmes like Sin Cities which frequently host these type of shows in Germany and Holland where they tend to be a little more broad minded, should I say than us Brits .
Now I have seen where they litterally coax a member of the public to be say be tied up and whipped with a new flogger. Whilst it wouldn't bother me too much as I tend to enter into the spirit of things , my partner however is much shyer in public and wouldn't stand the humiliation .
This is my only concern or have I got this totally wrong and its just a case of looking at a variety of stalls with assorted sex toys etc.

Cheers
Usually shows like this feel a lot like a massive market, but one that specialises in sex toys!
There are usually a lot of shopping stalls and interesting things to look at. If there's a stage you can expect some live performances, perhaps some stripping, burlesque, maybe a latex catwalk or similar.
Most of the shows I've been to or performed in are more about trade, promotion and sales rather than actually going to 'get your rocks off' there and then. If it's a show that goes on into the evening then things may become a little more sordid as the sun goes down, and you might catch some lewd acts going on - but there's never pressure to join in. Depending on the dress code, you'll probably get more of an eyefull from punters who have dressed (or undressed!) to impress.
Any traders who are there will more than likely be promoting their services and products in a strightforward, professional way. I wish we were going now :(
Unfortunately I just don't think I could justify the cost right now. Since I don't live in Glasgow, it wouldn't just be the cost of the exhibition, but of travel and accomodation.
Which is a real shame, because it looks like it'll be a great event. I was having a look at the website - there's going to be some fantastic burlesque performers there. If any of you get to see the fabulous Khandie Khisses, I will be jealous of you for a long, long time!

Headscratching. The exhibition is in Manchester not Glasgow ![](upload://JDvwB4BqTlXmc0TRZyEqziKCrM.gif)
