Sexy CD Heels

As a CD, I’m looking for advice on where I can buy heels in ‘men’ sizes. Like an 11! Anyone help a gal out? Thanks x

Hi there @Ava-Go

Although I don’t class myself as CD, I do prefer women’s shoes because they’re more stylish and tend to make my size 10 feet look less clunky - i.e. not like an off-duty policeman!

Searching online for “women’s shoes in men’s sizes” was rather dispiriting for me, as the specialist CD/drag/trans shoe dealers seem only to stock things that are ultra-feminine, very high-heeled or fetishistic. They can also be criminally expensive! I just wanted something pretty that I could wear when out for the evening!

Last year I made a shoe-buying discovery that made me a whole lot happier. The plus-size retailers Evans and Yours stock shoes and boots in big sizes and wide fittings, and they don’t cost the earth. Also, the staff in both my local branches are lovely and unquestioning - no funny looks or raised eyebrows.

I’m a man’s size 10. While I was trying on in the shop, I was amazed to find that I fit most comfortably in their size 9s. As there were no other customers present, the sales lady explained why. “Actually, that’s because they ARE a size 10. No woman likes to be told she’s got size 10 feet, so we label everything a size smaller than it really is.”

Search for anywhere that sells Pleaser Pink Label. My favorite shop is shoeme, but that’s in australia. Depending on where you are there might be somewhere better/closer/whatever. They go up to a women’s size 16 shoe or something like that :relaxed:

Sorry… mine are only a 9 so I use high street shops. Next have been great if anyone else is my size.

I found several UK retailers on eBay selling heels for about twenty quid. I’m also a size 11 but recommend going up one size based on the ones I bought from eBay. ASOS also do a small number of heels in large sizes so worth checking out, plus they do wide fit versions so you might be able to squeeze into a pair of size 10s.

I find next and also debenhams really comfy. I get a lot of mine off ebay though as I’m not confident enough to go into shops. As a result I have a lot of small size 9s I can’t fit into!

I’d try looking on eBay or Amazon maybe as they tend to do everything imaginable

My man-size in shoe size is seven so I can pick them up cheap and cheerful. In a nice pair of bordellos right now :high_heel: :high_heel:

@Ava-Go search for the brand ‘fereshte’. They sell them on Amazon. I have large feet for a woman, 9. They do them in up to a 12/13 I think? Quite a wide fit too and good quality too.
