Just checked my emails and had a very weird one from LH. The title of the email was Get 10% off at Lovehoney. I read it (obviously!) The email said:

I'm a bit confused about this because I definitely did place the order I wanted to place and it's showing in my order list! However when I clicked back to the site after reading this email my basket included the 2 products I bought plus the rabbit that was one the Bank Holiday £15 offer because I had been half-tempted by that. I wonder if it might have been because I spent ages over the bank holiday weekend messing about with putting different things in and out of the basket while I decided exactly what to get...

Yes, Cat Lady, I have been emailed the same letter. I think it is sent when the system picks up on unfinished orders. It's just an extra incentive to go ahead with an order. Cookies play a part in it too with things remaining in your checkout list.
I've had it a few weeks ago when I put something in my basket but didn't actually buy it, so you have 10% off your next order if you place it within a few days I think :)

The other stuff I've been buying recently, they were things I was missing- a sizable plug, my first rabbits, hopefully a replacement for the wired bullet which didnt work well. Was a replacement in way too many aspects- this one apparently doesnt work either, but I'm just charging the batteries again to check it isnt an issue with power levels. Did a weird thing where the lights would come on and work- but only when a bullet wasn't attached.
Ahum, but anyway. They were things I'm missing, I've realised. And whilst I've been eyeing those jelly vibe dildos, I can't actually see a reason why I need one at the moment. and it's a student way of living- you have to justify what you buy (and doesnt matter how much money you spend, you always feel a little guilty after a little splurge). I've got a few full-sized ones now, so I cant honestly can't justify getting it- even if I have been eyeing it up for a while! I just can't in good conscience ask someone else to gift it to me. (Well, if someone does decide to, that'll be nice, and thanks!) But I can't ask for it, unless it's in exchange for something I'm trying to get rid of.

I bought this a good while ago- http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=16727 and yes, it smells sweet and strawberry-like, almost overpowering but it was one of my first "bigger" toys. I have fond memeries as the OH used it on me.. and it was really amazing. (Hurt a bit but it was hot >.<)
The DJ one you were talking about, thats on sale, is very similar just a tad smaller in thickness so I thought it may be better. I agree, I think I'll just end up being greedy if I get it too. The good thing is there does seem to be a few in stock so who knows, it may be around for a bit till you can get it. Well done for reasoning yourself out of it though! =)
The bullet sounds dodgy - I'd ask for another replacement; it might be a faulty batch? Or get another one... When you have the funds just get the Lelo Mia and you won't have to buy another one in the long term and no batteries!
