The usual advice is to review things you have already purchased, following the guidelines about writing a good review, then sign up for items Lovehoney post on the Sex Toy Tester list.
If you are lucky - they can't pick everyone - the first item is likely to be cheap and cheerful. Then, if they like the way you write and if you contribute to the discussion forums too, you are more likely to be picked to test more things.
