Talk me through the picking a category/picking a toy method. Where would I put/how would I convert the roll numbers to get those results?
Well, the shop has 4 sections. Bondage, lube etc, lingerie and sex toys.
Sex toys has 14 categories
Lingerie has 9
Bondage has 11
(Im assuming you dont want to use lubes etc)
When you get into the sections it tells you how many items are in there. You could just roll a dice of that number maybe?
Edit. Hmm if you just add all the categories together you could roll a d34 (eg. If you got 21 it would be sexy knickers for example)
Sexy knicers has 229 items so roll d229. Lets say you get 80.

I was thinking of doing Lingerie vs Lingerie, and Toy versus Toy (though Bondage vs Bondage could be good too). So Iād only need to pick from within that uber-category for each vote.

I have fallen at this hurdle. The sort order is Popularity by default. Not sure if this is ideal? And scrolling and counting to get to 336 and 370 is a bit of a chore. Can we tidy this up somehow?
We could ditch sexy lingerie sets and sexy plus size, as I think those items should appear in the other smaller subcategories?
I only get 36 to a page, so thereās quite a bit of āLoad Moreā. I can change the page number manually though, so that may help.

I like this ideaā¦ the one Brenna ran ages ago (pre forum update) to find peopleās favourite Desire toy was great fun but I think it could be very tricky as thereās multiple ways to quite a few products. For example,
Bondage 
Fetish Clothing Bras, Basques and Corsets Exposed Lust Studded Halter Bra Set
= Sexy Lingerie Bras and Bra Sets Bra Sets Exposed Lust Studded Halter Bra Set
Quite a lot of the Bondage, Fetish Clothing can be found in Sexy Lingerie but not all of it, some is only in bondage which makes the algorithms very tricky. Similarly, different categories withing Sexy Lingerie double up in different places. Same for numerous other categories and toys that fit in more than one section.
I think you might have to be more specific and just create a list somewhere of for example, all Mantric Toys, all Desire Toys, all Ignite toys, etc. and then have the dice pick combatants from that? Maybe not everything to start. Possibly start with just Mantric Toys or just Dreamgirl Lingerie (which both have a fairly wide variety of options within them)?

Possibly. 
Maybe a Mantric vs Desire? Roll a toy shape (eg. 5=wand) and the two corresponding toys duke it out. Are there enough double-ups to make that work? Or would it have to be a straight up random-off? (eg. Desire cock ring v Mantric Bullet)
But then does the winner go onto fight it out with a different toy from the other brand or pick a totally random two again? If you just create a league to get top Desire toy (can anyone remember which won when Brenna did it?), top Mantric toy, top Ignite toy, top Womanizer (though presumably that would just be Premium or Duo and a bit pointless?) etc. and then pitch the winner of each brand against each other? Would take a long time though and tricky if, for example, a wand won if every brand.
Hmmm, more pondering I think but it definitely has lots of potential!
I was thinking of two new ones each round, and the leaderboard would be how many times each brand won?

Ooh that could definitely work. Might have to limit it to brands that have a good range of toys though.

Looking at the Brand groups it seems thatā¦
Desire has 26
FSOG has 28 (box sets and duplicates deducted)
Mantric has 19 (but two out of stock, maybe discontinued?)
Tracey Cox has ~31 (not including sets, bondage, kegel sets, balms, etc)
Ignite doesnāt have a brand page, but a search brings up 14 sex toys
Theres the happy rabbits too
I would say of current listings Mantric has 17 rather than 19 as both the Knicker Vibrator and the Prostate Massager are listed twice in the different coloursā¦ so possibly 17 rounds of Mantric against a random pick from Desire and FSOG? Or maybe pick the most diverse 17 from each of those 2 groups and then a random pick of one of each of those 17 each time? And the overall winner is crowned most loved brand? Its not very scientific as obviously some style of toys will always win out over others with random picking but a bit of fun none the less?

Sorry Iām a bit slow at replying to this one, Iām trying to absorb the information.
If there were only two brands (Desire versus Mantric) I could list all the toys in both camps and then roll twice to get the first toys for the first poll.

Thereās certainly a lot of information to absorb and work though! That could certainly work though I know and have quite a few products from both ranges so in my head Iāve already stuck on my one overall winner which means if that rolled early then (and obviously the forum has overall say not me) but no other products from that range would get a look in and it could end up being a bit repetitive.
If you have a random pick each week (minus repeats) then you have first round say 16 Mantric vs 16 Desire, winners then go through to next round with random picks from them again and so on to get one overall winner. You would end up with a few Mantric vs Mantric or Desire vs Desire rounds but it would switch it about a bit.
I think this is tricky but whatever you decide on I will gladly vote! 
Okay, I think I have a planā¦
Two brands go head to head. Iāll cream off the top ten best-rated sex toys for each brand (from eg. https://www.lovehoney.co.uk/brands/lovehoney-desire/?srule=rs-rating-v2), and roll a 2d10 to randomly pick two new contenders each week (one from each brand). Iāll keep running those all month (or maybe 5 rounds?), and tally up how many times each brand wins. At the end of the month the winner stays on, and battles it out against the top rated ten from another Lovehoney brand.
How about that?
