If you’re new to the Lovehoney Forums this should give you a little tour of the basics.

Reading
Selecting a title from the topic list will always take you to your last read post in the topic. To enter at the top or bottom instead, select the reply count or last reply date.
Topics above the purple line are new or updated since your last visit. If you have read all the way to the end of a topic, its title will be light grey instead of black.
Navigation
For search, the menu, or your user page, use the icon buttons at the upper right.
While reading a topic, use the timeline on the right side to jump to the top, bottom, or your last read position. On smaller screens, select the bottom progress bar to expand it.
(If you have a physical keyboard, you can also press ? for a list of keyboard shortcuts.)
Replying
Press any 
Reply button to open the editor panel at the bottom of your browser. Continue reading (and even navigate to different topics) while you compose your reply; minimize the editor for more room. Drafts will automatically be saved as you write.
Quoting
To insert a quote, select the text you wish to quote, then press the Quote button that pops up. Repeat for multiple quotes.
If the Quote button isn’t showing up when you highlight text make sure the ‘Enable quote reply for highlighted text’ box is ticked on your Preferences/Interface page.
Mentioning
To notify someone about your reply, mention their name. Type @ to begin selecting a username.
Emoji
To use standard Emoji, just type : to match by name, traditional smileys ;), or use the ones from your phone gallery.
Preferences
All topics less than two days old are considered new, and will show a new indicator.
Any topic you’ve actively participated in – by creating it, replying to it, or reading it for an extended period – will be automatically tracked on your behalf, and will show an unread post count indicator.
You can change your notification level for any topic via the notification control at the bottom, and right hand side, of each topic. (Notification level can also be set per category, look for the notification control on the upper right of each category page.)
You can change any of these defaults by visiting your Preferences page.
Changing Your Username
If you wish to change your username you can pop a request in to Customer Care by sending an email to customercare@lovehoney.co.uk.

Name:
Email:
DOB or Postcode:

Deleting Your Account
If you have never posted anything to the forums you can delete your forum account from your Preferences/Account page (NB this will have no effect on your review or shopping account). However, in all other instances you will need to contact Customer Care and request an account deletion.
There are two options when removing a forum account:
- Anonymise - keeps all posts intact, but removes your user information. Your posts will be marked as (eg.) Anon31415926
- Delete - all forum posts and user data will be deleted. All topics created will also be removed, including other user’s messages posted to them.
It is possible to delete your forum account, your reviews, and your shopping account separately. When requesting an account deletion please be clear which you would like to be removed (eg Forum only, Forum and Reviews, or all three).
If you were a Secret Squirrel tester all your existing reviews will be moved to the Lovehoney_Bot account.
To request an account deletion please email Customer Care, and include the following information:

Accounts to close: (Forum/Review/Shopping)
Once anonymised or deleted your account(s) will be unrecoverable. Please think carefully before you submit an account deletion request.
