Ok, so, I am a pretty impatient person and I find it *really* annoying when I want to play with one of my toys but I am not aroused.
I normally have a really good imagination when it comes to fantasies, but when I *have* to have them to get myself in the mood, I suck! They just seem to take too long and the same goes with reading. I just want to get on with it!
Does anyone have any suggestions of any way to make myself more aroused when I'm not being patient enough, please?

Have you tried reading erotic literature? I find that if I read a couple of chapters I'm soaking wet before I know it. Try not to be thinking 'I need to get aroused!' & just let it happen. Sounds stupid but if you relax, it'll probably happen alot easier.

Definitely erotic literature, but possibly photos? I find looking at black&white photos of sexual kind turns me on. I'd recommend a blog of sorts but not sure if im allowed? :P
lube is always useful. it's not a mental turn on but can help if youre not *quite* there.
i also like porn and literature, sometimes music can make me horny too as well as certain foods and drink i know will do it ( sparkling white wine is one of the worst for me)

Every bit of my intuition is saying that this is the real core of the matter, that it's more about mind and temperament than body. I could be wrong of course. :-) What do you think? Do you understand the hows and whys of your impatience in general?
definitely porn hahaha, how have you not thought of this already!! i find it dead hard to get aroused because of meds im on. i put porn on and straight away im ready :P good for when youre tooo lazy too
I'm really impatient too! I used to have a great imagination and could get turned on so easily by just thinking of my favourite fantasy. But then I became too reliant on porn and my imagination fizzled away, so frustrating!
I'd definitely recommend porn for a quick fix... but don't use it every time!
