We don't currently have one, simply because we haven't discussed it. I tend to tell him if he needs to stop and he stops. He's quite good for making sure he doesn't step over boundaries - and he's really apologetic if he does anything that I don't like. He's never taken anything too far and I really don't feel the need for one at the moment. Definitely discussing it when we start to get deeper into the BDSM though, I'm easing him into it because it's new for him but not for me.
Probably going to use the traffic light system though, I think it's easiest.

Start off very gently and get whoever is spanking you to rub your skin in between each strike with their hsnd. Build up the strength slowly and make sure you have an agreed safe word in place to stop things immediately if it gets too painful . A good soak in the bath will help afterwards xx
