Personally, quiet or loud isn't a problem. Although don't fake noises. I've done it and it's the most awkward thing in the world as well as being totally obvious (and hard to remember to keep up).
This sounds like my wife and I, I have historically been quiet. She actually asked me a while back why I was so quiet when she knows that I was enjoying myself. Noisy sex is awesome. The noisier the better I say from both sides :) But then I am super loud so I would say that, lol.
However watching myself back, never done it, but I reckon it would be a total cringe-fest, I know some people love it, but eek! not for me.
I had to supress my sex vocals for years, and it really affected the quality of sex I could have :( The louder I can be the more pleasure I seem to get. Unless I can't be noisy because I'm gagged, but that's a whoooole different thread ;)

I'm pretty loud (my housemates actually complained about it once, saying they put headphones in to escape the noise ;P ). I didn't used to be, but as I relaxed more, the noises were louder!
My OH isn't very noisy unless I'm going down on him, then he really goes crazy and it's really sexy :P so don't worry about it!

We have to be quiet because of kids. But it's not always possible mostly from my side. My partner is quiet, but it turns me on massively when occasionaly he gets louder than he is usually.

I think holding back your vocal side when your younger does makes things more diifficult when you do get your first real partner.
Then comes along the next problem you have gotten over being quite you like to let your vocal side come out but you have you kid in the next room,Then we either put the tv on loud or crank up the music.
You should be natural! My partner makes the odd groan and near to orgasm he often likes to tell me to keep going etc. I generally am the more quiet one out of the two of us, though I tend to hold my breath a lot too xx
