I'm after a little help from all you lovely LH peeps
I want to get my oh some lingerie for Xmas, now comes the tricky part she is a classy girl so I want some lingerie that is sexy and classy as the same time, no offence to anyone out there but some of the stuff I've looked at is a little bit risqué for her.
Also she's quite slim but has large boobs for her size, she's size 10 and 34DD, she's bought basques etc in past and has to get a couple of sizes bigger to fit her boobs with out them spilling out. She is very self conscious so wants everything to fit properly. The problem the. Is he rest doesn't fit.
You know, even as a female I would struggle to buy lingerie for another female. It is one of the most difficult things to get perfect! I do not have a large selection myself so I look forward to reading the replies. Just want to wish you luck, but here are some tips. but again this is personal opinion and others might differ wildly!
I think white is more innocently classy and classic. Black is classy too, in a more vixen like way. Red can be a nightmare if your girl desires classy as some red can look too in your face sex, or tacky while some can look gorgeous. I would stick to whites, creams and blacks for a classical look.
Avoid things like pinky pinks, polka dots, heart imprints etc. Bows can be classy so long as they are not "overdone" same with frills, too much looks tacky
Silks, satins and cotton would be my suggestion. I would avoid latex, PVC,
Avoid crotchless pants or peephole bras.
Mind you, this is all based on my opinion on classy vs pure sex vs tacky lol

fluffbags I think you've hit the nail on the head there, everything you said to "avoid" I no she would hate, it's just a matter of finding it, along with the sizin issue and shear amount of choice it's starting to turn my mind to mush lol. Plus the days are counting down and I hate leaving things to the last minute so want to get something sorted
I don't really have a lot of classy lingerie myself, but out of my collectiont his is defintiely my favourite piece http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=29516 it doesn't have suspenders though so maybe you won't be too keen.

Sorry LH, but if I was after buying some classy lingerie I would buy from somewhere like figleaves where you can buy a basque with sized cups so you can a bit more certain of the fit, and if I'm honest the quality of the product. For me LH is fine for in the bedroom fun, but for something to wear in an evening out etc I prefer my figleaves lingerie.
*edit* A very quick look on figleaves and their 34DD Basques start at £35.
Just a thought, have you had a look at Debenhams (sorry LH!) They have some gorgeous lingerie and have an extra 15% off until sunday. Some of their lingerie, including basques are sized by the cup instead of S M L etc...

Last year my husband went bra shopping with me, let me try on loads of things and then talked my into buying something else. When I went to try it on he bought some of things I had been ready to purchase and hid them. Sneaky chap.
Romeo Papa, I have E cup boobs and mine fit fine :) It also clings well and I am a size 14-16 and got the XL size. It skims my wobbly tum and narrows my waist, gorgeous. The packaging is also lovely if giving as a gift.
