Yes, apparently that’s roughly the age it’s most prevalent! I went straight to the doctors on the Friday morning after it coming on whilst at work, but a locum misdiagnosed it as an infection, and prescribed antibiotics which I suspect prevented gangrene. I actually worked Saturday with it and spent the Sunday in bed. Thank god the doctor i saw on the Monday morning knew exactly what it was and fast tracked me to hospital for emergency surgery! It was like being kicked in the balls for 3 days!
