Beds...

Tip, to stop the bed moving and therefore starting to squeek/become loose, screw one end usually the head end, to the wall(about 18" up from the floor), its the rocking that loosens the joints no matter what it's made from, reduce this and it'll help lots, ever wondered why hotel beds are screwed to the wall? not just to stop the head board banging off the wall.

Filthygorgeous, glue and screw all joints, not just screws.

One thing we have done to minimise noise is not fixing the headboard to the bed but to the wall, a bit like the big hotels do, this stops the banging when things get more physical, we also have a sprung draw divan, very quiet with the bonus of plenty of drawer space for our collection of toys, lingerie and outfits! Have also made them lockable to keep prying eyes out!

Quiet ones - yep a good squirt of glue on the joints plus i added brackets too. Its survived being 'christened',

Yes, going to attach a headboard to the wall, nothing worse than hearing it bang!
