Best Kegel Exercisers?

Does anybody know about some good kegel exercisers? I am interested in working out my muscles, but I don't have a large budget. Any ideas on a good product that is affordable for a University student? I'd love some feedback!

I own these that are really cheap and good value for money: http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=30257

Or you could try the newest Lovehoney ones part of the 2 for 20 offer: http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/special-offers/5149/

There are lots and lots of other threads on this topic, so you can also use the search bar on top of the forum pages to see what others have discussed about kegels. :)

I second that, the Lelo Luna Smart is amazing, but it's not very budget-y unfortunately.

Do you need to work up in size with the kegal balls ? X

LH's own purple ones are great. I have the heaviest ones - I bought them to replace Tracey Cox's double ones as they were physically too long to fit in me comfortably. The LH ones fit in well, allowing me to use my muscles to keep them in. Because they're fairly large, I get excellent feedback when I squeeze.

I'm alternating with the Ami+. Now this is a workout. I find the LH ones good for feedback and can keep them in all day, but the Ami+ are more tiring as I need to clench to keep them in when I'm active.

I wish I'd started with LH's own purple ones, though. Especially with the deals they have. They're easy to clean, too.

Good luck and have fun.

Ami + is great, FSOG inner godess are the heaviest and the Lovehoney purple ones are good.

I like the 50sog Beyond Aroused kegel ball set, as you get a silicone holder and 4 different weight silicone balls that you can use in multiple combinations to start off at a low weight and work your way up. They are easy to clean too.

What's the best thing to look for in kegel balls? I have no idea what to expect, or to look for. Do I want to start with something lighter and move up in weight, or do I want to just start and see how it works?

Well, you are a student so I suppose young, maybe in your early twenties. I also assume you have not yet given birth. This means you should be pretty much fine with your PC muscles anyway. Of course, Kegels can only improve your state. The goal is to strengthen and tighten your vagina, and make you be in control of its contractions (during sex/orgasms this can be much enjoyable to all parties involved). So the Kegel balls that would do that for you depend on two things: how your body is built down there and how strong your vagina is already. Which means that none of us can really tell which set will work for you, and which won't. As a general advice you should start off with larger and easier balls to progress to smaller/heavier ones. Larger ones you will probably discover that will actually stay inside you even if you don't clench consciously around them, so if you want to knowingly "work out", you will have to get the ones that would fall out (due to their small size and/or weight) unless you work your muscles to keep them in! When you start finding it easy to keep the ones you have in (yes, if you do your workout properly, you will notice that your PC muscles get tired too), you can progress to the next level. I would mostly advice you to be safe with the materials you chose, especially considering that many people keep their balls inside themselves for long periods at a time. That is why I would especially recommend the glass ones with the silicone harness I linked above: for the price they are made of glass + silicone, so hygiene shouldn't be a problem, they are weighty but not that much and also small for someone young who's not given birth yet. Also, they are versatile as you can start out with just one ball in the harness (for easy removal), progress to both balls in the harness, than to one ball without the harness (which means you'll have to use your already toned muscles to push the ball out) and then both without. For the price you really can't ask for more!!!

Thank you, era! I will definitely take a look at those glass and silicone ones. They definitely seem like they are a really good starting place. I haven't given birth yet or anything like that, but I feel like there's no time like the present to start improving my condition! I very much appreciate your advice!

Era has given you some excellent advice. I personally wouldn't go for the balls without a harness at this point since you might find them hard to remove, especially if it's you're new to kegel balls. For this reason, the Toy Joy Glass balls are a good choice since you can opt to eventually remove them from the harness when you've grown more confident in the future.

This set is pretty light though (40g), and might not pose much of a challenge for you. It's a great starting point thanks to its low price but be prepared that you would eventually need to invest in a heavier set in the (possibly pretty near) future.

Having started out as a newbie myself not too long ago, I think I would have outgrown this set pretty quickly. I personally bought this as my first set :

Tracey Cox Single Ball (39g)
http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=24631

I went with this because I was a beginner and didn't want to bite off more than I could chew. I barely felt this in me and didn't get much of a workout at all. I guess the glass balls would be more of a challenge since they're smaller, but I just wanted to share my personal experience with you.

For myself, I needed an upgrade immediately, and ended up exchanging them for this set:

Swoon Jiggle Balls (67g)
http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=25361

As a complete newbie to kegel exercises, this pair worked perfectly well for me. They were weighty enough for me to be fully aware of their presence so that I could make a conscious effect to hold them in. Also, the jiggling is always fun!

I've tried quite a number of kegel exercisers since then, and these are the ones I'd recommend to you:

Tracey Cox Toner Balls (78g)
http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=18124

Go for broke with a heavier set! At your age, you're a lot stronger than you think so I think this would be a manageable challenge for you.

Fifty Shades of Grey Beyond Aroused Balls (up to 90g)
http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=30892

This is the set that I wish I had started out with. It comes with a sillicone harness and 4 differently weighted balls. You can play around with different combinations and go from 40g (for your very first try) to 90g (for when you're stronger). Like the glass balls, these don't jiggle so it's really more for serious exercising. It has awesome results though. I progressed really quickly with these.

These might be out of your budget a little, but they're a wonderful investment because this will probably be the only set that you need for quite a while. Since you can customize the weight, it's like getting three different sets of kegel exercisers all at once!

Lovehoney Basics Jiggle Balls (56g)
http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=232

I own this set and love it. It's actually the most stimulating set I own which is why I still reach for it even though I've progressed on to heavier sets. It's a great beginner set and since it's part of the 3 for 10 offer, it's very pocket friendly.

One concern that many people have is with the nylon string which can be hard to clean. I find that soaking the set in warm, soapy water and then washing it out with sex toy cleaner works for me but this is something you should take note of.

On the whole, if you'd like to start with something cheaper before investing in a better set, you could consider the Toy Joy or Lovehoney Basics and then upgrade to a heavier set in the future when you've grown more confident.

Hope this helps! Have fun, kegel exercising is really rewarding especially once you've seen the results.

Great! Particularly because you mentioned that they are part of the three for ten, I went with the basics for this time around. The others all look really amazing, and I think I will work up to them and save my money so I can get those really nice ones you suggested. Thank you for your help once again! I'm definitely excited to try these out.
