Hi i am new to anal play and have recently purchased a http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=8956 as a review said it was ok for begiiners. I found that it was a bit big for me as it hurt when trying to insert it. I have now just bought an Aqua anal T Waterproof vibrating butt plug to help get used to anal. This slides in with almost no effort and doesnt really do much for me. But what im trying to say is when im ready will the http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=8956 be good to move on to or do i need another ne inbetween. Sorry for the long winded message

First of all welcome with this question which is a matter close to my part!
As for whether or not you need an intermediate plug, that will depend upon several factors;
1. Did you use plenty of lube both on the toy and on you?
2. Were you pretty relaxed when you went for the insertion? l find a warm bath helps relax me and if l don't nod off fun can be had with the plugs!!
3 . Were you both of the above an yet in a spluthering hurry, that could create the pain/unpleasantness you describe? Relax take your time, no prizes to be won, unless if maybe you posted the deed on the blog, or wrote about it for the competitions!!
