Hi, I have just discovered anal play (where have I been all my life?). I just have a question about butt plugs...are they supposed to stay in place when you insert them or do you move them in and out (like a dildo)? I have a butt plu just now but I think it's too small as it goes in very easily but slides back out. Are you meant to feel 'full' whilst using a butt plug?

There isn't really a firm 'suposed to' when it comes to sex toys since they are geared towards letting you experience what you like.
Butt plugs as a rule do tend to be inserted and stay in place but depending on your body and the shape/size of the toy some might just drop out and some might be harder to remove if they have a pronounced difference between the size of the bulb and stem. Some will make you feel full, some will be geared towards hitting the prostate and others will be focused on just the sensation of 'something is up there.'
You can certainly thrust them if you like that and it's not uncomfortable.
