Gets worse cant get the remote to work which was the whole point of getting it.

How to get to cover off the remote please tried sliding it off but nothing

Sorry, no idea on that one. It uses a watch battery so im assuming the back slides open.

Is it like a car remote where twisting a coin in a slot will pop two halves open?

Sorry I don’t own any remote control Tracey Cox toys. It definitely takes a CR2032 coin cell though so I would assume has a slide open part on the back? If you’ve not opened it before @duggiedoings it will almost certainly have a plastic tab that needs removing from the remote’s battery which is why you can’t currently pair it. Hopefully someone who owns it can tell you how to remove the battery compartment slide/flap.
