We've always wanted a proper swing but not practical in our flat which has crazy high ceilings. Plus we don't own the place; probably give landlords a heart attack if they saw half the stuff we have hidden away, let alone a swing!
So... are the door jam swings any good? Looks to me like they are a little limited in what they let you do.

Booo! that's a shame but suspected as much.
we had debated getting one but want a proper swing instead.
just need to find a builder to strengthen the joists, wouldnt wanna pull the ceiling down!

you can buy frames, although costly no permanent damage to property
Yeah saw the frames, might be worth saving up. Literally hundreds of hours of entertainment! :-)
