It takes a 9v battery, like the one in a smoke detector! Not sure if u can get anything similar to plug into the mains. U might give yourself bit more a shock though!! lol.

I have tried both an e-stim kit and an e-stim sex toy and I STILL cannot decide how I feel about e-stim. I know it isnt orgasmic for me. (The sensations do not make me orgasm or get me even close) and on occasions I can just find it painful.
The best way i can describe the sensation is like when pins and needles hit, and you get those millions of pin prick sensations. That is as close to what e-stim feels like as I can describe. It also feels almost like a vibration at times, but a buzzy, surface level, pins and needles type vibration.

We have an iTouch "Sure" and an iTouch "TensCare" (the latter being quite old and lacking in such features as a continuity check which means it can give you a nasty surprise if the contact is momentarily lost!). I have also modified this unit to increase the power somewhat though the "Sure" was reasonably good out of the box.
The main thing is the electrodes. I found that large area electrodes give lots of muscle activity and no pain. I use a 32mm dia x 100mm metal butt plug as one electrode and a metal kick-boxing guard as the other. With a pulse pattern that is only about 10 pulses per second with about 1 second on 1 second off the plug is quite strongly drawn in and very pleasant.
