female arousal creams advice

Anyone tried any of the arousal creams, balms or gels? Any recommendations?

I've been thinking of trying one but I'm a iittle unsure about the active ingredients, don't want anything to upset the delicate balance down there. I don't like warming lubes so if they're this sort of thing they wouldn't be for me.

PS. I've had a look at some of the reviews and can't really make up my mind.

I just wrote the most negative review I've ever given for the Tickle Me Pink clitoral gel. It's just waiting to be approved. I haven't tried any of the others yet.

I bought these a few months ago and reviewed them

Might not be quite what you are looking for but as I said in the review getting the OH to massage this product into my skin is one hell of a turn on.

At £7.50p its a bargain too.

Had 5 massages with them now and still another 3 or 4 left.

And it is 100% vegan, chemical-free, drug-free and cruelty-free.

I tried the Bombshell balm and I also reviewed it.

It has few reviews, but some are also commenting on it in the Pin Ups set reviews and it is getting good reviews. I liked it and kinda mad at myself I left it in my other home - although would not be able to use it right now, as I do have a problem down there caused by bacterial infection and I am on antibiotics. As for the balm I like the cold feeling. But if you dont like pepermint, dont try this one. As for the balance I only apply it to the clitoris, nowhere else.

I wouldn't go with http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=11492

It didn't really do anything for me although other people have good reviews of it.... it just didn't achieve anything and I never really got any sensation from it

I have the same one as LK and also the Durex O gel and to be honest neither did too much, a slight warming but nothing else.... Not worth the cash in my opinion, far better is just to take time warming up, and use plenty of ordinary lube....

I think when it come to these it is all about your personal preferences and to what you react. Everyone is different and it is the same with like vibrations. For what can be for someone too much can be too little for someone else. Its risky I think. May or may not work.

Sorry for the delay in replying.

Thanks all for your help. It's given me some things to look into.

I recently wrote the Guide to Female Orgasm Boosters and undertook extensive, laborious research.

The main difference I have found is that the clit balms give a minty tingle, due to the natural menthol and peppermint oils, making you more aware of the area. The orgasm gels (with Arginine as an active ingredient) actually help to give you a clitoral erection so promotes the physical changes of arousal and so kick-starts play in a more effective way.

Durex Play O is my favourite, though I also love the Bombshell Balm (which works nicely on nips too!).

Thanks Alice... research can be a chore but I suppose someone's got to do it. External Media

I'll have the STM review doen for you in the next day or so... sorry had a busy weekend.

I had the pleasure of testing this http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=15950 a while back and we love it even more now than we did then. I get a warm feeling, he gets a cool feeling but we both agree it gets us from start to finish quicker than not using it.

I have the flower balm but dont find it as effective as the lube and have to keep topping up with it which can be a pain.

That's a great article Alice!

My OH thoroughly endorses the recommendation for Durex Play O, applied to clit and nipples. think it's fair to say that of all the ideas and toys we've ever used to add to our fun this has made the biggest difference to her by far.

I like the article, thanks, Alice!

This is the only one for me

I actually like the flower balm myself.

for me it makes the area more sensitive and things, and although it dosen't make me come quicker it does help make orgasms stronger.

only problem with it is that it's not condom safe, so not great for anything other than solo masturbation.

I think I'll try the Play O next. I wanted something with arginine because my clit is very small and rarely comes out from under its hood. The Tickle Her Pink stuff didn't do anything, but I'm not ready to give up on the entire concept yet.

I had this one and it was kinda 'meh'. For me there was a definite sensation, it felt very much like the Durex tingle lube I'd tried in the past, except without the "OMG MY VAGINA IS ON FIRE AAAAAH!" effect. :P

Lol... Chilli has the "OMG MY VAGINA IS ON FIRE AAAAAH!" effect. Washed my hands well after chopping chilli but it definitely got down there.. I was fanning myself... I don't recommend chilli btw.

Durex Play-O is good... Nice sensation.

We decided to try Durex Play O because of all the positive reviews but it did nothing for me but it does say it only works for 80% of women.

Hopefully it works better for you
