Fifty Shades gossip...

So Charlie Hunnam has left the role of Christian...I wonder who it will be :|

I don't care who plays Christian the film won't be any good they can't go into the details the books did. (And they didn't go into great detail)

I agree with AA that the books boosted sales of sex toys etc but it's annoying for those interested in the screen before the book because now we're paying more for these items.

The craze will eventually die off give it a few years these things always do.

Yeah, my friend text me to say that and added "Thank God" on the end. Lol! Not quite sure what that means...

TBH, I couldn't care less. I read about two pages of the book and gave up. But then, I never really care much about things that are hyped up or 'mainstream'.

I won't lie though, Fifty Shades has really boosted the sales of the sex toy industry, and brought a bit of a new light to how the nation views sex and sex toys. Which is, of course, a plus!

I agree, the book was badly written, I gave up after two chapters, she was just a drip it didn't hold my interest at all.but I will confess the lube looks nice not overpriced everything else is though.

I loved the first and second book, didn't like the third as much. I agree, the start of the book is awful, but once you get a couple of chapters in its really good.

I didn't think Charlie was anything like Christian, so I'm quite pleased he's dropped out!

He probably realised he didn't want to be known for being Christian Grey all his life! I personally think making a film is going slightly too far. I get the toys - which are stupidly overpriced btw - but surely there is no way they can make a film without making it a porno? The first book didn't really have many sex scenes in it so maybe they'll mash all 3 together? Or, god forbid, make 3 films?

I genuinely don't understand this hype - I read the story when it was published as fanfiction on a blog and I loved it, read the books and thought there were too many changes but I liked the first one - but that was before I knew better. However, there were many similar books published way before 50 shades that are actually well written so I genuinely don't understand how it became so popular. I know they encouraged people to experiment (which is a great thing!) and sex toy sales must have gone through the roof, but come on. A film is taking it too far - I don't think I'll be watching it.

it won't make any difference who plays the part of Christian, it will be a dreadful film

so posative

I'm glad hes not doing it anymore!

I saw a film a while back that was based loosely on 50 shades, and now I cant find it :-(

All I remember was one very erotic scene where the blonde female (sorry I dont know her name) was tied to the bed, blindfolded and had earphones in her ears with music playing whilst her master teased her with icecubes and candles before having sex. Does this ring any bells with anyone? Would love to find the movie again!

OH loves them all. reads and rereads.

Be interesting to see who gets the part next

I just don't know how they will make a movie like this. It's either going to be a porno that will ruin the actors career and chance of other roles, or it's going to be nothing like the book and just a corny romance with a few sex scenes

There was or is still a petition going around for matt bomber to play Christian grey. I'm interested in seeing how the movie turns out. Agreeing with blonde vixen it could go one way or the other. I'd be very surprised if they actually pull it off.

Gutted he wont be in it anymore :(

So I've just read that they're cutting out the majority of the sex scenes in FSOG, I mean I knew it wouldn't be full on sex as described in the book, but seriously. Why make a book based on an erotic novel and take out the sex scenes?

They clearly want to expand on the whole inner Goddess/subconscious.
