Die Had has the sexiest villain going, Hans Grubber, now that is sexy. FSOG couldn't get past three chapters.
You did better with FSOG than I, I stopped within the Amazon preview.
I preferred Hans Gruber's brother in No. 3 ;) (The riddles were fun, too.) But now that I think of it, Die Hard 2 starts with the villain completely naked - unfortunately he doesn't have any redeeming features apart from an impressive body... But best get the first three Die Hard movies and make your own comparisons.
Coming from someone who loved the books and film you won't gain my thing from watching it. It is just a story and a film it's like watching Harry Potter and saying will I become a better wizzard lol
Please do not expect to watch it and gain advice/experience in the bedroom or expect to improve your relationship it's just a film

I've read the books and watched the movie and I would just say don't go by everything that goes on in the film. It's great to watch to get in the mood and maybe will be good for ideas to start some BDSM in the bedroom but that's it
Haven't watched the film, but just wanted to say I've seen stills from it and it makes me happy to see the female has an average (but of course attractive!) body type. Like she doesn't have massive gravity-defying boobs and she's not got washboard abs or anything. It just made me smile :)

This is the first sort of raunchy film we have both watched together and a long time since we sat on the same sofa. Will definitely watch The Secretary next time.
Think they are fair points about the film. It is a good play room that would be good to be in that room. The ending is better in the book as it explains it better than what the film does. We found it does drag a little you would expect more sex scenes as there is more is the book that need to be there as it part of the journey of ana and the BDSM storyline.

rainbowbaby, the 'wtf???' moment in the end is entirely justified, I think. But it is what it is because A) they already knew they were making the sequels, so needed the suspense like in season finale series for people to come back next year and watch it; B) the first book ends along those lines too so they respected it pretty much.

I know many of you have mentioned the disappointment of the final ending ie the elevator scene.
If the rumours are correct ,this paves the way for the second film which is due for release ,again if the rumours are correct ,around Valentines day 2017 .
My husband switched off part way through and said he was going to bed, I had to persuade him to carry on watching. Nevertheless was still good to watch and him saying he wanted to try x y and z on me :-) Maybe the Fifty Shades Darker will have a bit more intensity to it.

i'll probably put it on a new thread when I can find some time . I will probably list 10 as to list them all would be a very long task . We use soft porn mainstream moves , probably in a similar way others use the hard core internet stuff., hence the large collection. Also I am one of those rare guys who likes seeing a woman dessed sexily rather than being naked , and therfore most of these fit in with that.
Ok to watch but nothing new to me. I am sure most of us here have seen or done more exciting stuff. I find the movie is just made for those who absolutely have never experienced anything of the sort and the world of BDSM is new to them. Far too hyped for what it is.
I think it is a movie that devides opinion just take my household.I think it's OK especially the unseen version. My wife on the other hand prefers the books .
