Finally smooth again!

I have been removing all my pubes for years but the lockdown has played havoc with my grooming downstairs and I had a pretty hairy situation going on with almost a full bush again! Shaving is far too irritating to me and only lasts a day or so, so getting a regular wax has been part of my schedule which I haven't been able to get for months now.

Fortunately one of my close friends who is in our small social group does it for me (and also my husband now as I much prefer him smooth) and she came to our house this morning. We are now both tidied up and fully smooth again after months so tonight could be very interesting!

I'm very happy for you Laura. That must have been really annoying.

I guess I'm lucky that just after we got together, my husband decided that dealing with my maintenance down there was his responsibility and he took lessons on how to do it properly. Therefore, I've been fully serviced as normal throughout the lockdown.

I hate the thought of having hair down there, desperate for a head haircut but down below all neat and tidy lol

I make sure that my mistress is take care of down there

Lol @luscious_laura I’m totally with you there! I’ve been getting mine waxed for years and couldn’t bare the thought of going near a razor. Last week I decided I’d had enough of letting it grow and waxed myself 😳 it was a very hard task seeing as I always go Hollywood and I spent hours folded into some acrobatic positions with a pair of tweezers trying to get every last hair........I now have a very sore back!!

Back when I still removed my pubic hair, waxing was far better than shaving. After moving to Sweden, I had nobody to wax me so I started doing it myself (hollywood). As PrettyKitty24 writes, it does take some acrobatics but I could pull it off even with a bad back! Then shaved any rogue hairs - that didn't irritate my skin as they were way too few.

Have you considered having your husband do it for you - and you can wax him? Might be interesting! =)

Never too late, as a 40 something male I'd never touched my pubic hair, it wasn't anything excessive at all. This week I decided to trim a little and ended up shaving the lot off. The look is great, it feels awesome and makes it so sensitive there.

Hear hear, Mark_c! 👍

I'm 69, and male, and I started trimming my pubic hair a couple of years ago then, a couple of months back, I shaved and liked the look and feel so much that I now shave daily and I'm using HPL so that ultimately I will be smooth permanently.

First time my pubs had ever been trimmed ( actually shaved ) was 34 years ago for my vasectomy . That started me to trimming most pubs and shaving my sack . First time going smooth all under was maybe 5 years ago . Love the feeling and look and makes any kind of play much nicer . Prefer sugar waxing , but due to live in grandson , I use Magic Shave Powder .

Personally I can't cope with the totally bald thing. Only done it once for ex, but felt like I was 12 years old again and wouldn't let him near me. So a little well groomed runway serves the purpose nicely. I have had my bikini line laserd, so only a few odd hairs need any attention with tweezers and the runway gets a regular trim. I am amazed at how many people are completely hair free down stairs.

Fun Louise, I remember when you started lasering a few years ago it must be now. How is it? I really want to try it but I have recently been diagnosed with CPRS ans dont know if I could physically take the pain. X

l shave regularly every couple of days l use a ladyshave it's fine it never makes me sore .l also shave my bum crack as l don't like hair anywhere down there.

l rub body cream in afterwards

Ah, RosyCheek. I feel your pain.

I was diagnosed with that after an accident years ago. It's awful isn't it?

I hope you're coping with it.

Definitely like to be shaven but as so many people have said, the shaving rash is a pain!

VR, it's horrible. I have been having trouble for years and only recently diagnosed. However, during lockdown I have been unable to see the specialist. There's only so much my GP can do. It's just a waiting game now. I'm just glad that I'm not actually insane 🤣

My girlfriend already clean shaved before we got together. While I’d never tell someone to, it is something that I prefer and I am happier going down more when shaved. I always try to keep myself trimmed and keep going back and forth between trimmed and clean shaven, my girlfriend says she isn’t to bothered and is happy with both. When I clean shave it’s often irritating for a day or 2. While my girlfriend says she’s not to bothered she often plays more with the balls when shaven and it makes it a lot more sensitive.

muscleman_rocky i think that like shaving your face, the more you do it, the more accustomed your skin gets, i rarely get irritation and have been shaving twice a week for a few years. A blunt razor is the thing that causes most irritation.

After quite a while of having almost a full bush I decided at the weekend to tidy things up a bit. I did intend really just to do the bikini line area but suddenly found myself getting carried away and before I knew it I'd taken so much off that I thought I might as well carry on and go for the full monty lol.

Trouble is, that razor had been hanging around in the bathroom cabinet for a long time and it must have been a tad blunt because I felt a bit sore after !

Anyway, it's been so long since I've been this bald that I didn't think I'd like it but now the irritation has worn off I'm rather enjoying the feeling. Note to self - use a new razor next time!

Wildflower i have said this elsewhere, but a quality 5 blade razor and non foaming sensitive gel such as King of Shaves i find gets the best results. Also, don't be afraid to use male targetted gels and razors, they are basically the same as female, but cheaper! The increased sensitivity and feel is well worth it. Avoid disposable razors and normal foam and foaming gels, they left my face looking and feeling like a burn victim, i dread to think what they'd do to your bits!
