I would definately say go for it, I am sure he will enjoy it, especially if you buy it for him. I took a job a few years ago that required me to travel in the week so it seemed like a great idea to keep him busy while I wasn't there. He does use it a lot so seems like it was a good idea.
My husband loves his Fleshlight and I think it is one one best toys for men so I would say go for it If he is at least a little open minded I would think he would definately enjoy it. My husband uses his a few times a week and says it feels much better than just his hand.

I use a suction vibrating masturbator or my vibrating masturbator stroker a few times a week and it’s much better than my hand. My wife knows about them as has no problems me using them when she’s not around.
