I wish you could get notifications on this forum.
It'd be great to be notified when:
1) someone quotes your post.
2) someone posts after you.
3) someone posts on a thread you started.

Nice idea, but those of us who post regularly would be getting notifications all the time.

Hmm...maybe the practicalities aren't right...
Notifications that you can turn on and off, i.e. when you post a tick box about receiving notifications?

Oh God the FB notifications drive me insane I have them all switched off!.
