They are made from borosilicate glass if you google that you will see its as durable as Pyrex & are very durable, there are so smooth no sharpedges to hurt your "girly bits" .
As for useage you can warm them up in warm water or put them in the fridge you only need a minimal amount of lube, suitable vaginal or anal use both you & your partner can use them on each other....you are only limited by your imagination......give one a go if you dont get on with it you can always return it......enjoy
