So I'm trying to invest in some really good restraints but there's so much choice and I'm not sure what do get for my specific needs.
I'm upgrading to more secure (and potentially more 'extreme') cuffs for the arms and legs. Maybe a bed restraint set if possible. My partner is a particularly muscular man though and STRONG. He also likes to pull against his ties a lot so I need something that even he can't escape from (except for the sake of safety of course...) Have you looked at the Command range? Those restraints are extremely heavy-duty and can withstand a good pull or struggle. We tried the wrist to ankle restraints from that range and neither of us could escape from them without assistance from the other person. I think this range was designed with men and advanced bondage players in mind so it might be a good place to look :) x

You could look into rope bondage, the basic knots are really easy with a little practice and he won’t break the ropes!
+1 on the rope bondage as silk ropes are so versatile and easy to use. Also as long as you do a tight knot safely then you can hold anyone down no matter how hard they pull. Iv had a sub who would lose control with forced orgasms and kick out of Velcro cuffs and it would stop our play sessions to reset everything, so we resorted to rope and she was restrained and loved that she could kick and still be held down.

Pretty much any of them will do and the bondage boutique stuff is great and cheap! Even the fifty shades set is nice and has really neat metal tassels on the end.
Firstly hi I am new to this community so hello all, I agree with everyone else about rope bondage, it is so versatile we have different lengths cut for different purposes some just for wristsand ankles longer to secure to bed ect it cant be broken. I would consider myself a fit strong man and when tied I cannot get free there is lots of advice online and we only use very basic knots good luck.
We have a combination of 6 silk ropes and an under mattress system that is also wrapped around the bed frame. The under bed system is good and restraining but the ropes are used for positioning and bracing.
In addittion to ropes, consider using cable ties. You can daisy chain them to size.
