Help!

Hey everyone! I'm needing some advice.
What's the best way to start anal play on m OH? We've never explored it before and looking to start. He's never had anything up there before so I'm looking for advice on the best way to start, what's toys/lube to use an best techniques, and any tips you've got.
Thank you (:

I don't want anal sex though, I don't have a penis! Haha

Nevertheless, the advice given on that thread is still sound and there are a lot of good tips in it.

Start with a lubed-up finger, perhaps while you're giving a blow job, then work up to smaller butt plugs etc.

Use a good lube - we like the Sliquid Sassy as it's plant-based and doesn't have any nasties in it. http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=13181

Get a beginner's butt plug set - there are some in the sale at the moment like this one: http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=13504

From there think about some prostate toys like the Aneros range (although I have to say these don't work for me).

If you want to progress to more advanced stuff like strap-on play, you may also want to consider buying a douche kit to keep things clean.

In general, take things slowly, use planty of lube, if it hurts stop, and above all communicate!

You could use a strap on ;) x

Have you spoke about things with him and is he open to trying it? Are you also? It seems like the sort of thing that maybe a bit of a two way street.

This is a great beginners anal butt plug.

And I would recommend either LH's anal lubricant or Maximus anal lubricant.

It's best to try different anal lubricants and see what works for you, and then maybe invest in a bigger bottle!

The key thing is to take things super slow, and communicate as much as you possibly can with each other.

Any lube I use can't have silicone or latex in it if it's to touch me, in allergic to them.
Yes, we've discussed it and it's something we're keen on trying but just have no clue how or where to start.
We've tried anal sex in the past but due to illness (Crohns disease) I can't have anything up there anymore.
We've heard how good it can feel for men especially and can be very romantic and erotic if you want it to be.
Ultimately, I think we want to end up being able to use a strap-on but it's such a delicate thing and I'm scared to hurt him.

We have the same prob my OH is allergic to silicone . So we use water-based lubes. As to using a strap-on, start with small butt plugs ann other toys then when you are both ready then move on to bigger toys.

My OH uses allsorts glass dildo's, viberators, and two different size strap on's, and a prostate vibrator.

I always use water-based lubricants just because they're so easy to clean toys with afterwards. The lovehoney anal lubricant and the Maximus anal lubricant is water based.

Best advice I have take it nice and slow , lube lube lube , start off small and dont get eyes bigger than your belly .

LH have a great buyers guide -http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/sex-toys/anal-sex-toys/

I started off with http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=13085

Then got a butt plug so you are used to slipping something inside you - http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=16053 or you could buy a kit and work your way up - http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=3539

I then got a douche - http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=952 dead easy to use and simple and makes you clean esp when your using bigger toys as I worked my way up to an anal dildo to get to used to the fact that he will be inside me - http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=16726

Then I brought http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=17072 to get fill what it will be like,

Honestly try it slow if you enjoy it you enjoy it its not for everyone, dont put any pressure on yourself slow and lube it taken me about 6 months to work my way up, just taken it at my own pace.

I suggest a lubed up finger. Then try a beginners butt plug. They also come in set of different sizes so that you can work your way up in size.
If it's something he enjoys you could finally work your way up to a strap on for pegging x x

Don't underestimate the importance of douche. Not only does it make it more hygienic but it actually makes it more comfortable too.
The lovehoney basics red one is extremely good At that job. For me the best lube for anal use is something long lasting as the bottom doesn't produce it's own. I Have a beeswax one I was sent to test that is awesome but I think vaseline would work just as well.

Rather than making a new thread, I thought I'd continue here.

Been leading up to it for a few days, testing the waters so to say. By using my bullet just above the entrance whilst giving a BJ. He absolutely loved it (perhaps prostate?)

So, last night we tried it, with lube and my own sex toys (spur of the moment type thing.) he handled them very well and there wasn't much resistance. He said it wasn't painful but uncomfortable. But he's open to trying again and then perhaps trying a prostate massager as he loves vibrations.

How long does it take to get into the swing of things?

It's taken me a while to find it but this possibly might be helpful depending on what the swing of things means

'Getting used to' I guess.
Anyone able to recommend a beginners anal you that also vibrates?

Just a quick tip; if you use toys for both anal and vaginal play you should use condoms on them for anal. Glass and metal could be sterilised between uses I suppose, but most plastics, rubbers etc will harbour bacteria that no amount of soap & water can be guaranteed to shift

I have this
http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=8436
it's shit.

I also have this http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=4864
which is highly rated but meh in reality - poorly designed IMO.

I also have this which is ok http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=23981

and this which I've never used
http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=4463

the reason I've never used it is because this combination is awesome ...

It says g spot but reaches p spot just fine :)
