Ideas for everyday, please!

I've got a lovely collection of sexy lingerie for the bedroom, but still stick to high street comfort - t-shirt bras and cotton knickers - by day... this needs to change!

I've bought this set in both colours:

but haven't tried them yet - they are waiting with a neighbour as we are away.

Any suggestions for daytime wear? On a budget and small-breasted (I don't think those facts are connected...)

I love some of the George Asda range, I am small breasted and find that the bras fit perfectly and give me a great cleavage. I have a bunch of favourite bras from here too but unfortunately they are now discontinued :(

I know it's a very common practice but I could never understand the concept of 'everyday' and 'best' ladies underwear and my wife never really could explain it to me.

In the end I took matters into my own hands and hid every piece of underwear she owned then insisted that we hit the shops to buy as many of sets of pretty (or sexy) matching underwear as she wanted or needed. We tried a number of places but eventually ended up at Victorias Secrets. Their sizes seem to fit her perfectly.

Once we got home and she started dressing in her 'best' underwear every day she decided that she looked so good that she has ditched her original concept and wears the good stuff evey day.

@rockstar, for me, a basque & fishnet stockings, or a crotchless lace bodystocking would be considered bedroom wear. For everyday, I mean matching bra and knickers but I'm looking for something a bit nicer than the cotton multipacks and t-shirt bras which I hve been wearing for years. I still want a smooth line under clothes, and they need to be comfortable and breathable and wearable under jeans and a sweater. Hope that helps! PS I don't know of age comes into it, but I'm not 25. Sounds like you and your wife found some lovely stuff.

I am plus size, so it's extremely hard for me to find a matching bra and bottom (string, thong, brazilian or hipster). Black is my color of choice because I can mix and match.

Here are some sets from LH you might find practical for everyday:

You can also go to a store that sells clothes, accessories, underwear etc and try them on to see their fit. The only one I can come up with now is Primark, but I'm sure there are many others that are quite cheaper than Victoria's Secret, if you're on a budget.

@Smultron - thanks, I’d rather stick with Lovehoney for the offers and points and to avoid trailing around endless shops in the school holidays. The red and the Coquette look nice!

Oh, I totally forgot it's a bank holiday there. I actually like the set you already ordered the most, but the others are also nice!

Thanks all! I think I'm just an unconventional shape - maybe lots of people think they are. The bra sets I posted above were hopeless on me so I'll return them, but I can see they would look great on a curvey figure.

My problem is that things like these look good in the bedroom, when I'm not wearing anything else, so no complaints - quite the opposite!

But under clothes they wouldn't give me any shape, and items like the ones I'm returning are designed for people who already have more shape.

I think I need to stick to boring padded T-shirt bras and cotton knickers by day for their shape-poviding properties, and then turn into a siren at night... I wouldn't mind but the boring stuff is twice the price of Lovehoney!

Oh, to have boobs! :-)
