Media Request - Can you help?

Hello all!

I've had a request from a production company who are looking for people to feature in a TV show. Here's the information:

"A brand new television series for Channel 4 wants to explore the modern day sex lives of ordinary couples in an honest celebration of human sexuality.

The programme aims to reclaim the natural act back from the smutty books, freak shows and internet pornography – and instead examine real people and real relationships.
We want to hear from couples of all ages from new relationships through to long-term marriages.
If you and your partner would like the opportunity to discuss your sex life or to find out more, please get in touch via email: application@clearstory.co.uk or by phone: 0203 432 1233 (or 0203 475 8339) by Sunday 11th August 2013 with your name and contact details.
Applicants must be 18 years old or above."

As long as you don't have to have sex on television I think that this would be pretty interesting...

This sounds like a good idea and interesting viewing in order to diminish sexual taboos and show people from all walks of life and find ou the honest truth about their sex lives.
However many people like myself would not want to put themselves forward because I have family who don't want to hear about it, kids who I don't want getting teased because of it, not to mention what reaction I'd get from the folks at our church on a sunday morning lol!
Sadly most (and not all) of people who would be willing to be involved in this I don't imagigine would be a true representation of regular everyday people going about their normal lives, and wouls be likely to be after 5 mins of fame.
However that is just my opinion, and I hope you get some brave volunteers.
I would be willing to answer annonymous questions for the making of the programme or take part in a survey or pole for the production of this though for statistics.

I just showed my comment to my husband who agrees with what I posted. But he also suggested that there's a TV programme or at least a story to tell about why people won't willingly volunteer to talk about their sex lives on TV.
That's the unique and wonderful thing about the Lovehoney forum. Because we're all annonymous we can openly and honestly disscuss our sex lives on the forum , ask questions, seek advice or tips, and ask for other peoples opinions on relationships. No one feels judged, abnormal or a like a freek, because we're all different and yet at the same time there's always going to be someone who can identify or agree with our situation or predicament.

Test

Totally agree with mr and mrs average. I find that the propel who take part in any media type thing regarding sex tend not to represent the normal joe blogs. These people tend to be more out going in all walks of life.
I know from experience of being in a documentary about plastic surgery that my parents where very shocked to see me openly discussing why I had got a boob job etc, so I know of I went on tv to discuss my collection of dildos my parents would either drop dead or never speak to me again. Plus I have to think what my children would think in years to come..... I know even now as an adult with a very healthy sex life I hate to think of my parents doing the deed so I could only imagine how my children would feel if they found a video clip of mummy and daddy discussing who's bum the butt plug was going up tonight lol
