I am aware this is very random but couldnt find the tread this started in, so thought i would post a new one just to say a big thank you to SG and G&G for introducing me to the world of potato cakes. made the OH come hove via the supermarket last night to grab some, seriously yum and i am now a convert so thanks guys lol x

I've found homemade ones to be good but a lot of supermarket ones taste like soap....
Though tbh when I left home I ddi go striaght into home cooking... not sure if it was my budget or desire though.

Wow, never heard of these things before, but as a fan of all things potato and as I'm recently discovering my inner cook, I might just have to try these!
As a non-fan, I'd suggest you try with cream cheese too as Mrs M does. But then, she eats everything with cream cheese. Particularly Yorkshire Puddings, if anyone fancies giving that a try...
