sex toy newbie

hey all! so i have a question,

im 22, a virgin and apart from one very crap poorly made (not from love honey) toy that i used once ive had nothing bigger than my finger inside me.

im pretty sure my hymen broke when i was child (as they often do) but i do know im pretty "tight"

i really want to get either a toy or 2 toys, that can go inside me but isnt too scary! and also something i can use outside. ive tried a bullet vibe that wasnt strong enough for me.

price range, as little as possible!

thankyou x

Try a rabbit... Can be used inside or out, not too big, but strong vibrations x

If you feel that some toys may be too girthy for you, I would suggest maybe having a look at some of the longer bullet vibes, or even some of the anal dildos. These tend to be much less girthy and would likely be more comfortable for you to use. You could use these as a warm up to allow you to accommodate some of the more girthy vibes.

Some suggestions :

Hope that helps :-)

Hi, I understand your situation, im similar, still a virgin and too tight for a realistic girth of any jelly type toy. My suggestion would honestly be glass. It is much, much smoother, and the lack of friction means easier insertion and use. if you want it to vibrate too then i find lovehoneys own super smoothie classic vibrator http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=15349 is perfect, as the pastic coating makes it super smooth, it's not a scary girth, its 7 inches so you can insert as little or as much as you like, with completely tailored speed setting, with the top setting very powerful. The batteries last for ages, it's also water proof so you can take it in the shower or bath too.

I would suggest a Lovehoney Jessica rabbit slimline vibrator. They are great for beginners and are a good starting point for those that are new to the sex toy world. :) x

Try glass its smooth & cool not badly price either http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/sex-toys/dildos/glass-dildos/

thankyou guys! ive ordered the lovehoney own super smoothie that virginangel suggested, looks perfect! i also ordered a butt plug (i may get to chicken and never use it but you know!) and along with the butt plug in the 3 for £10 order, a g-spot vibe thing that looks good just to have a play with! not bothered about my g spot for now, and because i was highly curious, the mojo pro attract men, thankyou for the ideas, ill see how i get on with this order, and i think next on my list is a glass one.

Take your time to enjoy the toys and remember that first impressions are sometimes wrong!

If you find that you arent keen on vibes then i would recommend this http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=28715

its small and completely non intimidating! Its soft and flexible. Great if you arent used to being penetrated.

personally i love glass but i wouldnt recommend it to you yet. Glass is completely stiff and has no give in it at all. If you arent used to toys glass can be uncomfortable as you have to be able to insert it at the right angle.

Welcome to Lovehoney. Some great tips above x

Hi welcome and there is really nothing I can add to this thread. Slimline is a good idea as is the USB rechargable vibe approx £25

I own the LH Jessica Rabbit Slimline vibe and I personally think that it might be a little too girthy for a virgin. I have sex regularly and unless I add a good bit of lube, I still find it a little tough to insert at times (if there's too much of a lull in between sex). Something closer to 3" in diameter would be better, so the Smoothie is definitely a good choice! In fact, if you have a bullet vibe, you could start yourself off with that right at the beginning and once you're more aroused, you could work your way up to something thicker.

I'd really recommend http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=15342 because of it's small girth and smooth texture. I tend to get quite tense and anxious about using toys for penetration and this one is a really good size to start off with and can lead on to using other toys when you're feeling more comfortable. It's also a fantastic price at the moment so thought I'd link you to it even though I know you've already bought a few different things. From my perspective, I'd definitely stay away from anything like rabbits for a while until you're more used to using toys in this way. I have 2 that I'm barely able to use at all even though they're slimline models.

I'm also +1ing glass because it's amazingly smooth. It may be necessary to use another toy that you're more familiar with the feel of first to combat the issue of glass being really inflexible but I find there's less drag from glass than plastics or jelly so it feels more comfortable to put in and take out, so it's easier to familiarise yourself with that feeling with glass.
