Has anyone received an item to test thats broken? Is it fair to review as received or get a replacement?
If the item is broken, you should contact customer care for a replacement.
Quick question - I’ve done reviews and have been lucky to receive a tester. I only sign up for things I’d be willing to try but can I sign up for thing my partner is willing to try? Totally fine if that’s not ok because I’d have to write a review based on his feedback which wouldn’t be my style. Just wanted to clarify as I’ve seen comments saying “we’d love to try..” and listed both products like cock rings and a clitoral vibrator.

But so far my partner has only been mentioned in the vaguest way as the tester I have was specific for my pleasure. Something more specific for his pleasure would skew the review which is why I was unsure
We look at all previous reviews when selecting potential testers, so if you have submitted any reviews on toys for him then these are the ones that would be considered. If you haven’t submitted any reviews on toys for him then it is unlikely you would be selected as we do not have any information to help with the decision. If you are interested in testing toys for both of you, then I would suggest leaving some reviews on any toys for him you already own

Brilliant thanks, not used any toys on him/for him so for now I’ll continue to just vote on products for me as my reviews have all been mine.

Hi @Nic04, have you had a read of the The Great Big Review and Testing Guide?
All you need to do is vote/comment in the tester posts when they appear and have patience 
There are obviously a whole lot more volunteers than testers available so nothing is guaranteed.
If you want feedback on reviews you’ve written, then Brenna can probably help, or there is a Reviewing Reviews topic where experienced testers can give feedback too

Could you confirm if an email with measurements has been received? Just as a suggestion as I appreciate you’re all busy and probably not checking emails but would a form or an auto email confirmation be possible or maybe a little section/”about me” on your profile (not public though) to express preferences and sizes (like gender or more male or more female orientated toys are for you) which could allow quicker matching? (Not sure if anyone just votes in everything regardless)
Yes, measurements have been received. There is not a way to set up an auto-response just for these emails, as far as I know, as it is not a dedicated email just for measurements.
Potential testers are still required to vote in topics as normal, measurements are just required for lingerie so that the correct size can be selected

Do we get told if we are blacklisted? I’m just worried because I had issues with the last few reviews I did not posting even though it did on my end when I clicked, but I had to redo them. Its been a long time now since then, like a very long time. I was in a major accident nearly 2 years ago and I can’t remember if it was before or after that but it was around that time somewhere. I just wonder if I am even being considered now. I would have messaged you @Lovehoney_Brenna but can’t see an option to do that. I hope I’m not blacklisted but if I am it would be good to know, as disappointed as I would be.
Do different people get picked? I feel like I’m not going to get to test anything. Like the last kid to picked at a school game

I haven’t been picked yet but I haven’t even been here a full year. I also want to get more reviews done. I am excited just to be on the list though

@Snoocifer @BUSTYSTCLAIRE my first and probably most important piece of advice I give to potential testers is to have patience haha
There are way more volunteers than opportunities available, and it’s a privilege to be chosen, not guaranteed like some people seem to assume (not yourselves I hasten to add!!!)
Just keep putting your name down and writing reviews and fingers crossed your day will come

I’m not too worried about it, I buy my own toys and test them anyway and do reviews because I enjoy it. I think it’s become a hobby. I have eternal patience <3

You can write a review on the LoveHoney website for any product you’ve tried or own. Just click “reviews” under the item page, and click “write a review”
