Do you have at least 8-10 good (meaning in depth, helpful to potential buyers with information that’s relevant and can’t be found in the product description), well written, live reviews on the shopping site?
If the answer to the above questions is yes, great, you stand an excellent chance of being picked to become testers. If it’s no to either, start there.
It varies, if the post is still live, some items at least, are still available
With the regular tester list you vote on, you obviously can’t tell which items are still available. With the tester lists where you post stating which items you’re interested in and your order of preference, Brenna will often cross off items from the list that are no longer available so you know you can only request the others.
I had an issue twice in a row with reviews not going through so I had to be contacted and do them agaim, twice, in a row! Since then I haven’t been chosen to do a review and I’m starting to get worried I have been black listed. How can I get unblacklisted if I have been? Or even how canI know if I have been?
I’ve had dry patches where it seems I’ve not been chosen as a tester for months and months and then others where it has been back to back. I think there will just be times when products match other people better or the luck of the draw just isn’t on your side.
I don’t think ordering helps, I got selected for a tester almost a year since my last actual order, but then having the tester did prompt me to have a look around and order a few bits afterwards lol
Maybe this has been asked and answered before but how come the UK site has “helpful” feedback buttons but the US site does not? Its always nice to see if your review is helpful.
Apologies if it’s been asked before but whats the difference between voting for the tester category and selecting an item to review, compared to requesting to review an item from the normal list of items listed to test? Thanks.
The vote is the normal tester list. These are products that are already live on site and is generally open to all who have completed the relevant steps. The lists of items are normally secret testers which haven’t been released and are more likely to be sent to people who have previously received testers
After doing a review for tester item I received email to verify my address . The link lovehoney sent didn’t work I’ve contacted customer service heard nothing back still. My review still not been added. Worried lovehoney think I haven’t done my review.
Does anyone know roughly how often people are usually picked for testers?
I definitely have enough reviews, and they’re hopefully good enough quality! I was last picked for a tester over a year ago now, which I reviewed on time but nothing since then
I’ve voted in almost all the polls since, I’m hoping I’ve not done anything wrong, and just been unlucky!
