I wanted to notify all users for the AI chatbot test, that we are currently fixing the upload issue and that you will be notified later today about how to redo the survey. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Is someone able to tell me if there is a way to tell if youve been “accepted” so to speak as a tester? Ive done maybe 6 reviews on all products i have from lovehoney that are still sold, But i dont know if that is enough to qualify me to put my name down on toys id like to potentially get picked for testing.
I’m pretty sure you need 8-10 well written reviews. Once you’ve got those then you just need to volunteer on the threads that come up in the Testers category. Follow the instructions in the opening post on each tester item thread. A lot of people don’t and are doing themselves out of the opportunity! Attention to detail matters
Have a read of The Great Big Review and Testing Guide for everything you need to know. If you’ve been chosen to receive a product, you’ll get an email, but you won’t get anything to say you’re accepted. As long as you meet the criteria, then you’re accepted. Make sure your email and home address is right. Good luck.
Hey @Lovehoney_Brenna, I submitted my review of the most recent tester but getting an error message when trying to verify my email. Can you let me know if you’ve got it please
I think the simple answer is that the customer demographics likely skew toward couples/women. A quick look at the US site (because Im in the US) shows 420 vibrators and 195 dildos with 89 male masturbators. Math.
Hi Brenna. I just want to make sure I’m doing my reviews correctly. I am using my email address but a different username to what I have here. Is that ok?
I think I have about 15 and wanted to make sure you knew it was me.
Thanks
X
Yep! As long as you are using the same email address then the reviews will be linked to you
The only issue with using a different username is that any secret-tester reviews will have your forum username on them, rather than the username you previously submitted your reviews with. But that is the only difference!
If you’ve bought products elsewhere and Lovehoney sell the exact same product, you can review those too. You can review any product on site, so it doesn’t have to show as purchased in your account or anything.
I don’t think there is a set number but you should look at the reviews and the style, length and standard of current reviews, When you see some peoples toys/lingerie their numbers can be 50+ and some far more.
So I just signed up not to long ago, and I have ordered about 3 things from yall(which I need to review). I was looking at the tester list and it’s mainly for men, now my husband isn’t signed up so my question is can I still apply to test them if I’m testing the product on him???
Yes, absolutely. Quite a few prople review toys bought for their partners. To be sent them as testers though, it would be beneficial to you to have some reviews for male products written from your perspective already. You’re unlikely to get sent products of a totally different stamp to ones you’ve already expressed an interest in by buying and reviewing similar. The Tester List does change pretty frequently though, and generally, there are more items for the girls than the boys.
However, before you qualify for the tester program you will need to have ~8-10 well written, live reviews under your belt.
