Does anyone know roughly how often people are usually picked for testers?
I definitely have enough reviews, and they’re hopefully good enough quality! I was last picked for a tester over a year ago now, which I reviewed on time but nothing since then 
I’ve voted in almost all the polls since, I’m hoping I’ve not done anything wrong, and just been unlucky!

I have had a few testers, but average about one a year.

If you submitted it on time and you didn’t break any of the tester rules (basically not talking about it if it wasn’t live) then you haven’t done anything wrong.
I’ve been testing for Lovehoney for well over a decade. There have been times when I’ve had a couple of testers in a month and times when I’ve had a couple testers in a year. It all just depends on who else applies and what type of products are available.
Just keep writing reviews, vote on the polls and make sure you follow the instructions on the secret tester posts (so many people still post “all” or “any” or “the g spot vibe” and that just isn’t how Brenna searches the post). I’m sure you’ll get picked again

It can seem like you’ve done something wrong when you go from being chosen to not, was my review not good enough? Did I break rule? etc. But I think its more there are just so many people and it’s probably good to get reviews from a wide range of people. Testing is a perk of the forum, not something I think you can expect. I’ve tested a good few, but not in a while, I still vote though if there is something im interested in.

Has anyone received an item to test thats broken? Is it fair to review as received or get a replacement?
If the item is broken, you should contact customer care for a replacement.
Quick question - I’ve done reviews and have been lucky to receive a tester. I only sign up for things I’d be willing to try but can I sign up for thing my partner is willing to try? Totally fine if that’s not ok because I’d have to write a review based on his feedback which wouldn’t be my style. Just wanted to clarify as I’ve seen comments saying “we’d love to try..” and listed both products like cock rings and a clitoral vibrator.

But so far my partner has only been mentioned in the vaguest way as the tester I have was specific for my pleasure. Something more specific for his pleasure would skew the review which is why I was unsure
We look at all previous reviews when selecting potential testers, so if you have submitted any reviews on toys for him then these are the ones that would be considered. If you haven’t submitted any reviews on toys for him then it is unlikely you would be selected as we do not have any information to help with the decision. If you are interested in testing toys for both of you, then I would suggest leaving some reviews on any toys for him you already own

Brilliant thanks, not used any toys on him/for him so for now I’ll continue to just vote on products for me as my reviews have all been mine.
