It’ll only affect you in the sense of you (hopefully) not getting selected for products that you would dislike
Eg. If someone mentioned they dislike battery powered toys, they would be unlikely to be selected for battery powered toys in the future.
I work behind the scenes to match toys with people I think will love them, but without honest reviews, this can be really hard! So whether the review is positive, negative, or somewhere in the middle - they all help build a picture - which really helps when pairing people with toys
Hi @Joshuawiles910 I would look at the LH website to get a rough idea of the type of toy which you are interested in trying then comeback to the forum and ask for recommendations on that type of toy. The range is vast.
Hello @Lovehoney_Brenna
I hope this is ok to ask. I have been consistently and conscientiously reviewing our purchases (around 12-15 reviews), which I have always verified afterwards.
When I looked for them afterwards, there were only a few that were actually on the website.
This has made me quite upset as I have put thought and time into honestly and fairly reviewing the products. I have been wanting to be a tester for a while now, but I feel that I will never get a chance to test anything as my review numbers are not enough, as they don’t show up on the website.
Does anyone else have this problem? Maybe there is a problem with the reviewing of the reviews side of things?
Did you confirm your email address with all the reviews you submitted and search for them as ‘newest first’ on the product page?
All reviews are published unless they’re inappropriate i.e abusive or obscene. If you’ve searched ‘newest first’ and they’re not there, resubmit them and make sure to confirm your email address on the link that is sent to you.
@Susanna75 , just to check and reiterate what @JoCat has already said, when looking for your reviews on the site are you sorting by, “Newest”? By default all the reviews are published with 5* reviews listed first so if your review wasn’t 5* (totally acceptable and often the more helpful reviews) it will appear after all the 5*, 4*, etc reviews posted eatlier than it. As @JoCat says, all reviews are published unless they break obscenity rules but a lot of new people don’t know to filter the reviews by “Newest” when looking for tgeir revently published reviews.
@Susanna75 all good suggestions from above, but if they’re recent reviews, then there might be a backlog due to Christmas as everyone could be writing reviews about their purchases/ presents?
Also please don’t worry about waiting to be a tester. I’ve written quite a few reviews but have yet to be selected as a tester. This could be due to someone else being more suitable as a tester volunteer for a product and that’s ok! I’ll just keep writing my reviews and hopefully I’ll get selected one day!
Hi @Lovehoney_Brenna , hoping it’s ok to ask but curious to see, I’ve been trying for a while now, me and my partner are interested in testing products, as we haven’t been disappointed in a lovehoney product yet, I have a number of reviews, I think I may have changed reviewer name between Caem and Caemer on some of them, I’m wondering does this make a different or still give me the same total number of reviews? And if I qualify as a tester? I do think I have 10+ as far as I’m away as long as all was published and would love to be a tester as we use toys everytime and would be greatly appreciate the opportunity of testing more Thank you Brenna!
I’d just like to take the opportunity and thank you and your team for firstly choosing us and giving myself and my wife the opportunity to test a sex toy
Although my wife was a little jealous it wasn’t a couples or female toy lol
Thank you again, I have written a review and await approval, please advise if the review is sufficient x
