Like the title says, I'm a sex toy virgin - I've never used them before. In fact, I'm pretty new to masturbation despite being 22 years old! I identified as asexual for several years, so... Theres finger rings on deal of the day that are cheap enough for the experimental stage, the vibrations arent too weak nor overpowering either and are good for clit stimulation. There are a number of cheap bullets and stuff too which are good to experiment with until you figure out what sort of thing you like best. Personally I dont get on with the bullets but the finger rings help me on my way.
