To bring this post back from the dead, just wanted to thank everyone again for their input.. I went ahead with getting the pictures done and gave them to him recently and he loved them! I am so glad I did it! For anyone on the fence I say go for it, I didn't think I would be able to go through with it at one point but I actually ENJOYED it! And the result, and my boyfriends reaction more than made it worth while!!

As a result of your post and encouragement from legs - I also booked a studio session. It was a fabby day, got loads of shots taken, have uploaded my album to Jessops - but sadly missed the deadline for Christmas delivery - so not had chance to show hubby the pics. Nor does he know I had them taken.
I have them on my hardrive on my laptop and I m VERY tempted to show him now - but then that would spoil the album - so Im gonna be a little more patient.

I love the idea of my girl doing that!! She was going to one year... and get paid for it! Whooo Hoo. That would of been good, she could of made me a reallly big poster for my ceiling and bought me a mastubator! The photographer was a bit creepy texting her and was trying to chat her up! O well maybe one day!

My hubby loves me to have photos taken for him. I often get female friends to take some for me or I set the timer and take them myself.. will send them to him while at work.. gets him home in the mood.
I would love to do something like this. I'm not massively confident so right now it's something I couldn't do myself, but I think anyone who has the guts to do that is fantastic. I reckon your bloke will love 'em.
For what it's worth, my hubby likes taking pics of me in all sorts of positions but sometimes they can come out a little unflattering and the pose looks awkward.
A couple of years ago I did go to a professional glamour studio and found the experience wonderful. Apart from doing my make-up and hair, they took me through many, many albums to give me an idea of what they can do.
Importantly, many of the poses they had me in were so difficult to hold but they looked so natural in the finished product. Today, we still have some of these portraits framed around our bedroom while others are stored away on CD only for our eyes.
One thing I did notice was how at ease they made feel considering that I knew I would be nude for some of the shots. I still get a tingle thinking about it.
Wow i wish i had the confidence to do that, my Fiance loves taking pictures of me, but i only let him take pictures that are just bum or just boobs etc, i wont let him have any with my stomach on as i hate that. i wish i had the confidence to go and get pictures done (and the money) because im pretty sure it would help my confidence!
i just think woman who have the confidence to do that are amazing!
although if you seen my stomach you'd understand why i won't!
from the males point of view,
i praise the ladies that can and feel comfortable about it, well done,
but i also praise the ones that cant, for those of you that dont,
never be pressurised into doing it.

hmm well sort o on the same topic polaroid have brought out a printer for your mobile phone/ digital camera. it does prints and the quality is dependant on the qualityof the iage. the pictures are only 2inch by 3 inch but it could be useful if you want to do a more explicit shoot and daren't take it to jessops lol!
Just to add a different dimension to it. Myself and my OH were both planning on doing these (secretly) for each other as wedding gifts. Anyway long story short, we both ended up doing them together after the honeymoon (after we topped up our tans abit..well hers anyway). As long as you find the best photographer who you feel comfortable, you will not regret it. It was a great day and the results were amazing.
I'm glad this thread is still going. I'm hoping to make my second book for my OH to celebrate our first anniversary. I'm thinking of doing one like last year, plus a smaller one with very personal, unidentifyable photos which are beautiful although explicit and emminently tasteful.
I guess no matter how our self esteem is now, we get older every year and only look back with regret at how our little hang-ups held us back.
My book last year was very empowering, I still find it hard to believe I looked like that!
Partly why I could do with the boost again now.
I'm still happy to edit anyone's photo's in confidence if I know them. I love playing with colour and light and it gives me an outlet for stifled creativity.

While we were reading that posting she made an off the cuff comment that she would really love to see more pictures of you too. Did you in fact send out more photos to the other women? Would you consider doing that again for my gf? I am totally trying to surprise her with more photos of your body if at all a possibility. We look at the Playboy website, or pornos, for the models I like, but NEVER seem to find male models or porn stars that seem to turn her on. So when I noticed that she was really into you I thought about trying to arrange getting more pics for her. Not sure that is at all possible, and it's probably strange to get this request from a guy, but since she was so interested I thought it was worth a shot to ask you anyway. She is worth it for me to try, as I am sure you can understand the possible end result benefits for me should I be successful. Let me know what you think and thanks. I just wanted to add that I have had some of these photo's done by a professional photographer.
I had an amazing day and I was made to feel very special.
I have to say that the photo's are fantastic and my husband loved them.
Definatley a good way to boast your confidence and make you feel good about yourself
