Silicone safe lube?

Ok, so despite the bad reviews, I am considering this:

I want lube that is glycerin free (which the sliquid range seem to be) in the hopes that it will not end up being all sticky, this is my main concern but I also like the idea that it's sensitive and kinder to the body in general.

What I was wondering is, that this particular lube is water based and the description says its safe with condoms, sex and sex toys, but it is blended with 12% silicone for a more luxe feel. - Will this small amount be safe with my silicone toys? or is it best not to risk it??

I've been using Liquid silk lately which contains an even smaller amount, only 2% silicone, and I wouldn't even try that one with silicone toys. Not worth taking the risk, who knows what could happen.

Actually http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=13089 looks promising, I might try it myself.

Cheers guys, I won't risk it. After some consideration, I've decided that I probably shouldn't get a silicone lube, because in the heat of things I might forget and pick up a silicone toy when I've already lubed up.

I'm liking the look of the Wet Naturals Beautifully Bare. - Water-based, free from all the added nasties AND greaseless/non-staining. Very tempting indeed.

Oh no! Ive been using liquid silk aswell. It is in the waterbased lube section so i just assumed it would be ok to use?. Ive been using it with a silicone dildo and my icescream silicone vibrator....nothings happened to them yet but would it be advisable to stop using liquid silk with these toys?

I believe so External Media Just to be sure. I didn't know either until I checked the ingredients (where it says Dimethicone). 2% is a really small amount but you never know, it still is silicone. Fab lube though!

I would never have known that Dimethicone was silicone! Thats really dangerous then! They should say properly 'contains silicone'! Those are my 2 fave toys aswell that ive been using with liquid silk! One being a tantus dildo which i'll never ever be able to afford again! The other being my icescream.....my best friend!!!!

You're right, they should, but thankfully LH included the info in the ingredients list. Btw, Dimethicone & Dimethiconol both mean silicone and here's a great website I found which I use to search every ingredient whenever I have doubts about a product. So copy+paste each ingredient in search and you can find out everything there is to know: http://www.cosmeticsdatabase.com/ . It also has details about how potentially dangerous a substance might be.

I've decided to include the icescream in my next order, sounds delicious External Media

Oh yeah, in my opinion every girl needs an icescream! Whether for internal or for cliteral! Some people are put off by the girth but its amazing just for vibrations, and waterproof! I am able to insert when im hungry enough and this does make me rather peckish in general! haha! Anyway, i'm terrified about liquid silk now, we only got it because it says good with toys! I cant use my fave toys now til i save up to get some totally silicone free lube! Thanks for the info 2W.

The good thing is that nothing went wrong, you didn't experience any problems and your toys are ok. Hope everyone else knows that though
